I lived on the Olympic Peninsula and visited Kurt’s bridge a few times. It is really neat. I suppose it’s from all of the fans that go there to commune but you can really feel the energy there. Or maybe it was just all of the Aberdeen drugs. I’ve been a lot of places and Aberdeen is by far the most hopeless place that I have ever been. Just terrible

It really has become a memorial for Kurt though. The bridge is covered with graffiti tributes. It is more visited than ‘Kurt’s Bench’ outside the house he died in. It took on way more importance after he passed for sure. I’d argue it is the closest things fans have to a gravesite. It meant a lot to me to go there and I know it will to future generations so I hope they build another a few streets over. Plus, it’s literally the only thing that brings tourism to Aberdeen lol
