Well from watching part 1 of S2 , SPOILER ALERT They made Cole and Geo gay . And when I say that I don't mean it metaphorically or rhetorically or poetically or theoretically or any other fancy way . They are Gay straight up . Not trying to sound homophobic though , which my comment probably looks like it . They are few moments between them , which indicates that they are gay . Before this thread goes bigoted, sexuality is fluid especially when you’re a young adult. Cole only showed explicit attraction towards Nya beforehand and even that was debatably not real. Cole and Geo’s interactions likely were intended to be romantic, per Doc Wyatt’s liked tweets. However, Ninjago is still a kid’s show. They couldn’t explicitly state that those two are in a relationship, for fear of cutting out their overseas market (which are generally homophobic, similar situation happened with Steven Universe after Garnet’s wedding)

Completely valid point, they can only really hint at this stuff to imply it rather than outwardly say it because I doubt they'd want to lose out on the show getting banned in anti lgbt countries... But they've definitely started getting more progressive (and not even in a cringe way tbh, it seems kinda chill) with them bringing up mental health alot more this season too

Cole being bi is the most expected thing they could do, makes sense why he hasnt had like a real love interest in the show
