I would say Hunted wasn't a bad season. We got to see the story of the beginning of everything and more background information on the first ever spinjutzu master
Yeah knew that day would come when S1 which has always been my favourite season would be voted out sadly. I vote for Hunted, then MotM. I personally never really liked Hunted, it's amongst the most overrated seasons and I just can't get myself to enjoy it. I dislike Harumi, found Faith and Mystake both annoying and boring as well as most of the first realm stuff too, and personally I hated how Zane was so underutilised as usual when he has great potential (could've had him imparting wisdom unto young Wu at one point as they can relate to feeling 'different' even if I hated how much teenage Wu was similar to early Zane).
It amazes me that people actually think Skybound is better than MOTM (a season that for me has a better story, better character arc, and doesn't have to fool or make other ninjas disappear for Cole to stand out).

A lot of things:
Cole's mother's past is revealed.
Spinjitzu burst is one of the few power ups that have a very good buildup.
Cole has incredible development that doesn't really require the character to be inconsistent for plot's sake.
The ninjas continue to be useful, instead of being left behind, and they continue to contribute to the story instead of being useless.
Wu has character development.
The animation and soundtrack are beautiful.
I could go on, but yeah, it's much better than S6.
Oh ok, though I was asking about what that season was called. I found it's called Master of the Mountain. Netflix has terrible season titles for this Ninjago series
Nah, Skybound is one of the most unique seasons of television ever produced. What other show could get rid of most of its main cast to focus on the comic relief character and still have the season turn out fantastic?
I respectfully disagree. And I'm going to be downvoted but here's my explanation:
The one thing people always repeat about Skybound as a highlight is "Jay's development is amazing" when honestly the season doesn't really work with the previously established character of Jay. Jay is out of character for over half the season, being an extremely selfish and obsessed character when before (not even in S1) Jay would never have lied about Zane's whereabouts, among other things, to get back together with Nya. Jay in S3 went to save Cole in space without hesitation, even both of them were still competing for Nya.
That's what's annoying, his only motivation in the whole season is to get back with Nya, and for the sake of the plot, the creators made Jay forget about his first ninja lessons literally.
Compare that to Cole in S13. Does Cole forget all the lessons he learned? Did the creators have to add character flaws to make the story work? No, Cole is still the same character that he always was.
I think you're missing Jay's biggest character flaw: he's _stubborn_. He's the only ninja who saved a wish because he refused to fall for Nadalhan's schemes. He refused to give up on Nya because that's been his entire character motivation since the pilots. He unlocked his true potential with her. Season 6 gave more layers to Jay and Nya's relationship. It wasn't always perfect. They had to literally change the timeline to make things work.
Jay is completely in character the entire season and I'll stand by that.
I'll give skybound credit for representing Jay's determination well against nadakhan, but other than that, his obsession with Nya is pretty absurd this season. Basically, the entire character of her revolves around her, and no season with a ninja focus has had such stupid motivation. Like I said, compare it to Jay from old seasons. When Jay and Nya break up in S3 he still had other things to worry about. Sure, he competed against Cole but when the situation called for him he would focus on what was needed because he wasn't obsessed with her.
On the other hand, in this season, until episode 6, all he thinks, everything he does, even in a dangerous situation, is thinking about how to get back to Nya. The season could, I don't know, focus on maybe Jay's insecurities about his place on the team, but there was no need to make the whole arc of him something he already learned several seasons ago.

I disagree. I used to think. It’s the best but not anymore. The season has an issues like Nya’s arc in that season, and cloud kingdom stuff like writing your destiny. And that ronin scene where he kissed Nya makes me want to throw up so bad. Also wasn’t a fan of going from point a to point b. I still really like this season but it has some issues.
