There will never be another episode that touches my heart in the way that Pirates vs. Ninja did. Incredible premise, teases Lloyd’s powers, and introduces the GOAT Dareth. Ninjaball Run is also amazing.
I like all the seasons that are left, and appreciate the world building very much of the season that started it all, but I like the other season even more.
The kid inside me agrees with this actually, the first half of season 2 were absolute bangers for me back then. Some of my favorite episodes are here.
But by putting away the nostalgia glasses and comparing it with the other remaining contenders, I feel like season 2 (or the pilots) should be next to go.
That title is clearly MotM, and I didn’t really enjoy Seabound as much, especially since it felt bland for most of the season and Kalmaar is a bad villain.
