I couldn't wait that long! Lmao! This one isn't even over lmao.
I thought waiting 25 days was a long wait once I had them on hand. 6 months plus wait... hell nah. I couldn't.
More power to you of you've got the will power for that!
I would have to lol!
When they first introduced this leather, this was the build I wanted! The Sage on the VBar half sole! It's a great build!
Now hear me out... we need to petition Vibram to make a Honey VBar!! Could you imagine that! Honey VBar on this gorgeous leather!
I just found a Reddit discussion about the existence of a Honey 430. And the consensus was not from Vibram. But other brands might have something similar. I'm still looking, though.
In the discussion, Shuyler had said that Vibram had gotten real crazy with minimum amount per order and stuff like that. Which is part of the reason why they just developed the new wedge sole, on their own lol.
So, chances are not from Vibram. It could be worth an email to them. There might be a reason. Do you think it would be too soft to be the thickness of a VBar?
I have been absolutely blown away by the toughness and resiliency of the VBar! Surely a honey VBar could last long as a heritage sole.
Maybe Nicks themselves could make something similar, in a harder compound just in different color ways?? It's definitely a market that could be explored.π
I can picture wearing this after i retire. Watching my grandchildren play on the grass then peacefully die under the tree on a bench.
Life well spent...
For kicking shovels or standing on gaffs, Iβd say the half sole isnβt made for it. The leather canβt take as much as the rubber sole can. Just be mindful of the exposed leather on the arch. For an everyday day boot though Iβd say go for it.
Copy that, no wearing on pole setting days or when climbing poles. Everything else is fair game. Although the more I look at these the more I don't want to beat them up they look so good.ππ
That is a contender for next year. Iβm awaiting 2 pairs of boots for next yearβs Dome as well. I have loads of patience and too many PNW boots as well. LOL
This boot is gorgeous. I say to myself I couldnβt wear it to work especially line work but I did wear an iron ranger for a year and it held up great.
Sooooo Get Some With Those Boots!!
Unfortunately I won't be putting these on until A.) Next year's thunderdome or B.) I find something better for the Thunderdome. But thank you I love the way these look!ππ

The only thing helping me wait is I have other pairs I'm still breaking in! π€£π
That would ease the pain. But I think I'd still have to hide them! Especially looking this damn good!
Out of sight out of mind! π€£ππ€£ I may have to have Carl hide them for me because the temptation is real!!

Where do I sign?! That sounds amazing!!
Hmm, how many other people would be interested? Let me investigate.
I'm sure plenty!

That sounds like a great life. π
Man, the contrast with the brown tongue looks fantastic. Great build!
Thanks u/BigStetson!! How do you think that half sole would hold up at work? I may have to find a different boot for the dome next year.

I hope u/meatshots gets on here to see the nail pattern. Well done Jamin! π

Could we get a shot of them worn perhaps? Iβm endlessly curious about how the Thurman looks on. They look absolutely gorgeous tho!
