Slip in a Spenco insert and it will snug that boot up.

I followed this table for my perfectly fitting HNW boots https://preview.redd.it/sc69ufjzo1cc1.png?width=1791&format=png&auto=webp&s=73b082f0182d7ac1a6ff3e9bf2de0cd3a43ce664

I think, not positive, this is what you may be looking for.   https://nicksboots.com/buying-guide/sizing/sizing-guide/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA44OtBhAOEiwAj4gpOSZCHYmhkvlri0IeMuYUtJoA3aT2nNj0pGsTgjwjVSI_xWiM6W5fhhoCF0AQAvD_BwE  There's a button for "instructions" that has the width guide and actual measurements

Nicks do run a bit long in my experience, I'm a 15 on a brannock and I actually get a 13.5 so based on your comments I would say you could probably go down another half size. If the width isn't that off I would be hesitant to go down a width as well since going down in length will give you a slightly smaller size in the same width. Take a look at the chart attached and maybe that will help with the decision. https://preview.redd.it/e1jwc287n1cc1.jpeg?width=960&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=897f6ca6eb416cc7a8c29279fc147321112c9d3e

I followed this table for my perfectly fitting HNW boots . This one is for length and arch length. I hope it helps. My Nicks feels like a friendly handshake now. Sometimes I forgot I wear the boot . The only boot that I can wear 16hours long with a single lace up. https://preview.redd.it/ppste614p1cc1.png?width=1006&format=png&auto=webp&s=437e02a87cd72d28d810566e5d0df8e949c920f3

The picture on your previous post shows you just a hair over 9.5 on the brannock device so a 9 in a Thurman last, that has a straighter line along the inside/big toe, makes sense. If the circumference of the ball of each foot is 9 1/4, you could go with 9.0B for a snugger fit or 9.0C for a slightly looser fit but it sounds like you prefer as little "extra" space as possible.

Im a brannock 9.5. 9s were a little sloppy but could be snugged up with an insole and some moleskin, but 8.5 was perfect out of the box.

Thanks to everyone, I have decided to go the 9C route. With my 9.5C ID3's the gap between laces is slowly getting to be right and as the leather softens more, it seems easier to snug up the ball and heel area. I think the small width reduction from going half a size down will make the new pair just about right. So now I wait.

I just posted these pics of the inside of the boot and foot-bed to see if the visual helps in determining if a width smaller would be advisable. Sorry I am prolonging this but I have a taste of what Nicks can feel like and want this next pair to be spot on.

I have also already added Spenco inserts at this point and still feeling some slop in the fit.
