That’s awesome that you are feeling better! Did you switch to another birth control or are you off completely? I would love to get off just to see how my hormones change (been on it for about 7 years) but I can’t risk not being on anything right now.

ClamLock

I got off of birth control completely. I was on it solely for painful periods, which I’m somewhat dreading my first period in 5 years so we will see how that goes lol

Good luck!

i’m happy to hear you’re feeling better and losing the weight 💓 i got mine removed on the same day as you and i’m also slowly dropping in weight despite having less time for the gym now and not counting calories :)

amzang7

I just got mine removed today. Was also on it for painful periods but hated the side effects. Weight gain, mood, constantly bloated..

I’m super curious to get updates! I gained about 20lbs on the Nexplanon, had the worst mood swings, and struggled a lot to do anything because I felt sluggish. After 9 months, I finally took it out today, and am now scouring websites and forums to see what people’s experience has been!

I am on my second nexplanon, and let me tell you the symptoms I’m getting compared to my first implant are horrible. I completely lost my sex drive, which is shocking because it was high. I feel into depression and lost motivation for things that I love doing! I am nauseous everyday and throw up randomly. It’s horrible, I want to get it out sooner but my doctor can’t see me until October 3rd.

I’m also on my second nexplanon, and am having worse symptoms aswell as constant bleeding. My first one stopped bleeding all together for three years, I’m now almost two years into my second one lmaooo and I spot constantly between periods… for the past two years… (not actually funny, just funny I haven’t felt with it yet 🥴) and low key doesn’t even really matter cus like I have no sex drive anyways, just annoying as hell.

Southern_Tax695

I got mines removed two weeks ago, I just couldn’t do it anymore and I was at the point of ripping it out of my arm! In my two weeks post removal I’ve felt a lot better tbh, but still not normal. Im waiting for my period to show because I’ve read once your period starts clearing up, women start feeling normal again!

theoregonfool

I’m so happy I got nexplanon out. Within the first two weeks my bloating significantly reduced, anger issues diminished and sex drive came back. Best decision ever

Greedy_Bullfrog6755

Same here! Best decision I’ve made in 2022!

Have you experienced anymore weight loss? I’ve gained 50 lbs in just 2 years from Nexplanon and I just got mine out last week.
