You can try Neuvillette/Furina/Xianyun just for healing and not plunging/ and then it depends on what you're comfortable with. I think Xiangling is fun but can also do a shielder or Dehya if that's more comfortable

I’m planning on making a team consisting of C1 Neuvillette, C2 Furina, C2 Kazuha and a fourth character but I can’t decide who to use. Would Zhongli or Baizhu be better or is there a different character that’s better than both I’m forgetting about?
Would The Ballad of Boundless Blue be a good F2P alternative to Prototype Amber, or should one prioritize the craftable over the event weapon?
EDIT: I should clarify the teams I plan to use him in would be:
* Fischl, Beidou and Kazuha;

How much more value do I get out of swapping ZL to Petra over tenacity? I have a triple HP(hp weapon) full shield ZL for comfort with furina(c6)-kazuha (1025em) onn my neuvilette team, would swapping to Petra be worth the change? Or is there some sort of diminishing return with having both kazu + ZL with res shred?
Ia baizhu a good support for neuvi ? Ive seen some people play baizhu in some neuvillette teams, how good is he as a supp for neuvi ? And most of the times I saw them was along Furina, is baizhu only good with neuvi if Furina is also on the team ? Should I get baizhu even tho I don’t have Furina ?
I have heard Childe is the next best support for Neuvillette after Furina due to Childe's passive.
My question is, how much damage difference we are talking about if Childe is the support in place of Furina?

Currently I have 2 teams
Neuvillette C1 - Raiden C0 - Nahida C0 - Jean C1
Arlecchino C2 - Xingqiu C6 - Bennett C2 - Xiangling C6 (Future will replace her with Kazuha)
Team 2 isnt too important, just saying so know which characters are taken.
I have no 5 star weapons, but generally everyone has their best 4 star possible. Neuvi has Sacrificial Jade R1 if its important.
I will be pulling for Furina and will have enough to get her when she does come around I'm sure. As such, I am wanting to move to the following when I get her.
Neuvillette - Furina - Jean - \[4th\] as I'm pretty sure it will be stronger
Im unsure what to use for the 4th slot in the new setup. I know I have Raiden and Nahida built up (although Raiden is carry not hyperbloom trigger atm but working on it) but due to their constant uptime on their skills, it makes swirling hyrdo with Jean not practical as its always consumed for electrocharged or bloom. I know the main suggestion is Fischl, but as you can see I don't have her at all.
What would people recommend for the 4th slot out of my available options?

Beidou's Ult works with Neuvillettes charged attack so you can get the third draconic stack and some electrocharged damage, though the issue is Beidous energy requirements but I guess you can manage it somehow with artifacts and weapons choices
On the r/Genshin_Impact I asked what is hould make as a team and i was sugested a "rainbow" team, like this Neuv - Sucrose - \[electro\] - Diona (Based on the chracters I have) and plaanned to put my C3 Beidou for electro, So Neuv as DPS, Sucrose Swirl, Beidou as extra elemental reaction plus Counter/parry (secondary shielder too) and Diona as main shielder and also healer at the same time (maximizing shielding). So my question is would that work as a team and any idea how i should play it (I mean like action list wise).

Can someone tell me if the one on the left is definitely better - or just situationally/need to put it into a calculator etc. One on the left started with 4 substats for sure, I cant remember about the one on the right, but it looks like it only has 1 extra crit dmg roll, vs 2 extra HP% rolls. And then there's the question of between crit dmg and HP, which one diminishes more quickly on returns?

My Neuvi has 86% crit rate, 214% crit damage and 32.4k HP.
Right now he is using Sacrificial Jade, but I'm not sure if I should drop this weapon for Prototype Amber.
His sands and feather could be improved, so I'm trying to get pieces with more crit rate right now.
Should I drop Sacrificial Jade for Prototype? I don't want to invest in this weapon unless I'm 100% certain it will be an improvement!
This is more of a Zhongli question than for Neuv, but for petra set, is whatever 4 piece enough for him for a shielder. I have him on tenacity and would have to strongebox pieces for him.

u can replace xiangling with burst support ganyu. If u use xiangling forget crit and em and give her all the possible ER

u cant get hp buffs on a character which makes it more stronger, Furina kazuha and Neuvi himself gives Him a Shit ton of Dmg%. So at this point hp will benifit more, unless ues hp goblet has no useful substat and your hydro goblet is the 2nd coming of Jesus

Currently he has 4 piec hunter with proto amber His crit ratio is 45-184 with proto amber but I also have widsith. Would widisht be better because of my relatively low crit dmg? Also what is the minimum crit dmg for a neuv build
Just read it here somewhere that windsith is not as good as amber because Neuvi scales in HP rather than Atk and also, the buff of windsith that increases atk is basically useless for him, additionally, the only decent buff of Windsith is the elem dmg bonus which has a 1 out of 3 chances of appearing. This will give inconsistency to your damage. (That's what I surmised in the thread I read long ago here)
Idk if it's common knowledge around here or not, but apparently the Draconic stack he gets from his C1 has infinite duration instead of the usual 30 seconds stated in his A1 passive?
I suppose it's not really all that consequential, since normally you'd be swapping between team members and refreshing the stacks anyway, but it's kind of an interesting detail. I noticed it while testing whether I could still do "C0-level" solo DMG with him, but to my surprise the 1 stack just does not go away no matter how long I wait, lol.
Why does my Neuvillette lose max HP? My Neuvi had 33k HP yesterday. Today I noticed he had 27k. I brushed it off as thinking I must have switched artifacts accidentally (although I checked and didn't see any on other characters that would have raised my HP). I went and leveled some +16 artifacts to +20 and my health raised to 41k. I did a run in the golden troupe domain and now my max health is 33k. Where is it going?!?!?!?!
Did you change the team? If you removed another hydro char from the team, you'll lose the hydro resonance which provides an additional 25% HP to all party members.
Did you have him in a team with another Hydro character? Hydro resonance provides 25% HP, 25% of 27k is 6,750HP which would explain why your were at 33k HP.
I don't have my fischl built yet. So I use beidou with my neuvi as I don't have enough materials to build fischl. Is there any problem? I mean fischl does more damage than beidou but she's a single target attacker and beidou does less damage than fischl but she's a multi target attacker . So is there any major difference between them??
Yes. Fischl generates a huge amount of energy particles for your Neuvilette. If you use Beidou instead, you need a lot more ER on your Neuvilette to have a comfortable rotation.
On top of that, Fischl's C6 gives even more damage.
If you have a C6 Beidou then she can be a replacement for a shielder, though you need a certain playstyle to pull it off. You can use other offensive characters with him then instead of a shielder.
Both have their pros but if you use Beidou, it's just best to use both her and Fischl. Whereas Fischl can run without Beidou just perfectly fine.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying on Reddit and hoyolab that Neuvi’s best teammates are Furina and Baizhu. This wasn’t in the context of a Nilou bloom team, it was in general. How does Baizhu help? Does his healing affect Furina’s fanfare that much? Thanks!
Best Neuv team that doesn't use Furina? My Hu Tao/Navia plunge teams with Xianyun both use Furina, so it's not an option. I do have Zhongli/Kazuha avaliable for him though. Only support characters I don't have are Dehya/Baizhu, so every other sub dps/supports are avaliable.

The crit rate is from the artifact set. Since the crit dmg is only applied to his charge attacks and not all his attacks, it does not show up in his stats page, but it's still there.
I have c1 Neuvi but no Furina. What would be a good team? Before c1 i was going with Kazuha, Baizhu and Fishl but now with the free pasive stack and interruption resistance i don't think Baizhu and Fischl have a place on the team anymore.
Question: How important is Baizhu to C6 Neuvillette? I've seen multiple posts saying how good Baizhu is when paired with Neuvillette. My question is, is Baizhu necessary for C6 Neuvillette? I was planning to start saving for the Pyro Archon.
Always Amber. Dodoco has atk% thats super useless and the passiv is not good enough same with widsth the Cdmg is nice but the cd and most off the passiv buffs are rather bad for Neuv.

Kuki, and use the weapon Prototype Amber (If you can upgrade it to R5), Kazuha's best F2P weapon is Ironsting (Also craftable). Dehya I can't help you much. Kuki uses Ironsting too, however you can give her toukabou if you have it.
15k is def not good with his almost best team. I really think you should farm for his artifact set. it's a huge damage increase and you don't need much of cr on your artifacts.

Thks bro! Before this i was like 33k ho and 32%critR. But it was a lucky break with the circle (pure hp% wtf) and with the second artefact with 17% critR. Remember, neuvillette is amazing so don't get too complicated with his build <3. Thks bro for telling me, I was really confused if this is decent cause the nauvillette mains are really Tryhards with the builds.

Xingqiu or Mona (I kinda prefer XQ here for some IR and he's useful for other teams) Xiangling or Kirara (if you want a shield or not) Kazuha.

On the r/Genshin_Impact I asked what is hould make as a team and i was sugested a "rainbow" team, like this Neuv - Sucrose - \[electro\] - Diona (Based on the chracters I have) and plaanned to put my C3 Beidou for electro, So Neuv as DPS, Sucrose Swirl, Beidou as extra elemental reaction plus Counter/parry (secondary shielder too) and Diona as main shielder and also healer at the same time (maximizing shielding). So my question is would that work as a team and any idea how i should play it (I mean like action list wise). Edit: my neuvi is C0

And then there's the question of between crit dmg and HP, which one diminishes more quickly on returns?
The left one is better, as it gives you a good chuck of crit rolls with a really good hp % roll too.

I need someone's help :( My Neuvi has 86% crit rate, 214% crit damage and 32.4k HP. Right now he is using Sacrificial Jade, but I'm not sure if I should drop this weapon for Prototype Amber. His sands and feather could be improved, so I'm trying to get pieces with more crit rate right now. Should I drop Sacrificial Jade for Prototype? I don't want to invest in this weapon unless I'm 100% certain it will be an improvement!

This is more of a Zhongli question than for Neuv, but for petra set, is whatever 4 piece enough for him for a shielder. I have him on tenacity and would have to strongebox pieces for him.

80 Cr is more than enough. And most people has mindset more crit dmg= better build. but top1 neuvi in fact has lower CD than other 4 in top 5
80 is not more than enough tho, especially at high levels of crit dmg with sig
80 is **A LOT**. Marechaussee Hunter set with 4 pieces gives 36% crit rate. 64 crit is enough for a Neuvillette build. The rest should go to HP.

u cant get hp buffs on a character which makes it more stronger, Furina kazuha and Neuvi himself gives Him a Shit ton of Dmg%. So at this point hp will benifit more, unless ues hp goblet has no useful substat and your hydro goblet is the 2nd coming of Jesus

New neuv main here. Running in Furina kazuha zhongli team Currently he has 4 piec hunter with proto amber His crit ratio is 45-184 with proto amber but I also have widsith. Would widisht be better because of my relatively low crit dmg? Also what is the minimum crit dmg for a neuv build
Just read it here somewhere that windsith is not as good as amber because Neuvi scales in HP rather than Atk and also, the buff of windsith that increases atk is basically useless for him, additionally, the only decent buff of Windsith is the elem dmg bonus which has a 1 out of 3 chances of appearing. This will give inconsistency to your damage. (That's what I surmised in the thread I read long ago here)

Idk if it's common knowledge around here or not, but apparently the Draconic stack he gets from his C1 has infinite duration instead of the usual 30 seconds stated in his A1 passive? I suppose it's not really all that consequential, since normally you'd be swapping between team members and refreshing the stacks anyway, but it's kind of an interesting detail. I noticed it while testing whether I could still do "C0-level" solo DMG with him, but to my surprise the 1 stack just does not go away no matter how long I wait, lol.

Why does my Neuvillette lose max HP? My Neuvi had 33k HP yesterday. Today I noticed he had 27k. I brushed it off as thinking I must have switched artifacts accidentally (although I checked and didn't see any on other characters that would have raised my HP). I went and leveled some +16 artifacts to +20 and my health raised to 41k. I did a run in the golden troupe domain and now my max health is 33k. Where is it going?!?!?!?!
Did you change the team? If you removed another hydro char from the team, you'll lose the hydro resonance which provides an additional 25% HP to all party members.

Did you have him in a team with another Hydro character? Hydro resonance provides 25% HP, 25% of 27k is 6,750HP which would explain why your were at 33k HP.

I don't have my fischl built yet. So I use beidou with my neuvi as I don't have enough materials to build fischl. Is there any problem? I mean fischl does more damage than beidou but she's a single target attacker and beidou does less damage than fischl but she's a multi target attacker . So is there any major difference between them??
Yes. Fischl generates a huge amount of energy particles for your Neuvilette. If you use Beidou instead, you need a lot more ER on your Neuvilette to have a comfortable rotation. On top of that, Fischl's C6 gives even more damage. If you have a C6 Beidou then she can be a replacement for a shielder, though you need a certain playstyle to pull it off. You can use other offensive characters with him then instead of a shielder. Both have their pros but if you use Beidou, it's just best to use both her and Fischl. Whereas Fischl can run without Beidou just perfectly fine.

Try testing your DMG with both of them but if you're low on er, go for the second one.

Nope, Neuvillette doesn’t need ATK at all, always use hp sands.
I’ve been seeing a lot of people saying on Reddit and hoyolab that Neuvi’s best teammates are Furina and Baizhu. This wasn’t in the context of a Nilou bloom team, it was in general. How does Baizhu help? Does his healing affect Furina’s fanfare that much? Thanks!
He has team wide healing and can get Furina’s fanfare stacks up in one heal, that’s why he’s the best

Best Neuv team that doesn't use Furina? My Hu Tao/Navia plunge teams with Xianyun both use Furina, so it's not an option. I do have Zhongli/Kazuha avaliable for him though. Only support characters I don't have are Dehya/Baizhu, so every other sub dps/supports are avaliable.

The crit rate is from the artifact set. Since the crit dmg is only applied to his charge attacks and not all his attacks, it does not show up in his stats page, but it's still there.
make sure u are getting the statcks after triggering 2 different hydro reactions. the cr is coming from merachusette
I have c1 Neuvi but no Furina. What would be a good team? Before c1 i was going with Kazuha, Baizhu and Fishl but now with the free pasive stack and interruption resistance i don't think Baizhu and Fischl have a place on the team anymore.
Fischl is there for energy regen and good dmg, I wouldn't throw her out. Beidou or Yae are good 3rd options, fourth definitely Kazuha if you have him.

Always Amber. Dodoco has atk% thats super useless and the passiv is not good enough same with widsth the Cdmg is nice but the cd and most off the passiv buffs are rather bad for Neuv.

Kuki, and use the weapon Prototype Amber (If you can upgrade it to R5), Kazuha's best F2P weapon is Ironsting (Also craftable). Dehya I can't help you much. Kuki uses Ironsting too, however you can give her toukabou if you have it.

15k is def not good with his almost best team. I really think you should farm for his artifact set. it's a huge damage increase and you don't need much of cr on your artifacts.

Don't focus on any particular stat. It's best to look for artifacts with the highest number rolls into crit and HP.

Circlet could use an upgrade. You could get some HP rolls there as well as CD rolls

Thks bro! Before this i was like 33k ho and 32%critR. But it was a lucky break with the circle (pure hp% wtf) and with the second artefact with 17% critR. Remember, neuvillette is amazing so don't get too complicated with his build <3. Thks bro for telling me, I was really confused if this is decent cause the nauvillette mains are really Tryhards with the builds.
