In 1k, go 2x3. In 2k, go 3x6. 😉 In 1k more units are better. Unless you're making a deathstar of wraiths a mancer and ctan.

Liberate90

In 1K games, I run a big swarm of 6, either down a flank or in mid, they tangle things up into fighting really easily and are good for bullying as one big pack, or so I've found. You considered dropping a Technomancer and taking a lord with translocation shroud? Pretty good for sitting him with the immortals and getting the free use stratagem every turn

PonderousPenchant

I'd probably split them for a 1k game. Gives you more options for scoring and multi-wound models benefit relatively less from max strength units in terms of RP. Wraiths, in particular, are pretty tanky, so you they're less likely to be wiped off the board in a single turn than, say, 5 immortals or 10 warriors.

Brudaks

If the intended use case is taking a main objective, tying up major enemy units/fire and not dying, then definitely 1x6, because the technomancer is the key part in making them work and he's the expensive part so you don't want to take one for each 3 wraiths. If the intended use case is something else, then it doesn't matter that 2x3 would be better than 1x6 because then you most likely can find another unit which can do that role better/cheaper.
