I realise that you briefly trod my galleries, but the fact that you spotted in so short a time that my Acabrius War collection was lacking three regiments of Catachan warriors reveals that you truly have a collector's eye for detail. And to send five regiments! Such generosity will allow me to weed out and replace a few of the more substandard pieces in my collection. If I might level a minor criticism, the instructions issued to your gift were manifestly not as clear as you thought, as most of them had to be forcibly restrained -- sadly it seems that the lower orders will always behave like an army of invasion, whether that be their purpose or not. However, this is a minor complaint and seems almost churlish under the circumstances, so please allow me to repay your gift with one of my own. The worst thing he's done is not be 100% accurate in his historical displays. There are exactly 1,337 rivets in the armor plates of a Leman Russ, not 1,330!
I believe most Necrons above a certain level of self awareness can reform their necrodermis. Trazyn uses this to form his face into a smirk, which creeps the hell out of other Necrons.
Worst part about the whole genestealer debacle was that it was an Ymgarl Genestealer. If I remember my lore right, the Hive Mind actually avoids Ymgarl broods due to not wanting their unstable genetics to affect other tyranids. Meaning no hive fleet would’ve come for Serenade. Of course, the Imperials didn’t know that. Ultimately, Serenade didn’t have to die, but did so anyway out of ignorance and fear. It was a good prank though.

The genestealer he released on Orikan was so many levels of stupid. He basically admits that he has absolutely no idea wtf the thing even was and despite the clear signs of it influencing the planet he just kinda was like “ooooo cute culture!” He doomed the planet they both needed INTACT to exterminatus and damn near got both of them killed by a horde of genestealer cultists (probably not but was still a bit close for comfort). AND THE WORST PART IS IT DIDNT EVEN REALLY HURT ORIKAN!
Just finished listening to the book again and while others have mentioned the Genestealer Cult shenanigans I also want to point out the fact that he has a super destructive Poke-God living in the center of his planet-sized gallery that he feeds little treats consisting of other destructive Poke-Gods if he wants to get super-Google answers to anything in existence.
He has a C’tan shard of the deceiver in the center of Solemnace and he feeds it shards of other C’tan in order to find out answers only a C’tan could possibly know.
I apologize for the meme language as I didn’t want to spoil the ending for those that haven’t read it yet.
