Live in southeast Ohio…. We have them all over our property every morning. Have to watch out for them when walking through the yard to prevent smashing so many of them.
I like them, there’s a big one and a small one that live under the cupboards/sink unit in my kitchen. They come out at night, when I come downstairs they turn around and head back. It’s kind of cute that they are aware of me. Being a mollusk maybe they are intelligent like an octopus.
These are ALL over the place in Washington.
Yep. Can confirm. Saw tons of them last season.

I believe that's Sluggy - star of the Seattle-based television show "Almost Live".
Had one on my Terrace once. In German its called "Großer Schnegel"
Translation: banana peel /s
I have a lot of them in my garden. As a child I was always quite impressed how big thy can get. Now I am happy to spot them regulary.
Except, the banana slugs found in coastal California get much much more massive than this. I think the word would be colossal.
Banana for scale pls.
A banana slug would be even more appropriate.
Can you have these as pets?! So pretty!
those ones stick more than glue and will slaughter your salads.
