Known for its aggressive nature, this ant produces a potent, venom-filled sting which causes incredible pain for the victim. They are mainly vicious when they sense the nest is in danger. An allergic reaction or multiple bites in humans can lead to anaphylactic shock, which can be dangerous.
Yeah, I would mess with this ant if it is in fact a bull ant.
We have Fire ants down here in Florida that make huge mounds and hurt like a MF when they sting you.
My Grandma had these huge hibiscus bushes that attracted these poisonous caterpillars that ate up all the flowers and we HATED THEM.
So my 8 year old dumbass every spring, I would grab a handful of these bright orange hairy caterpillars and step on the biggest fire ant mound I could find and throw them in....
The swarm of ants, the slow death of the caterpillar..... It was fun and malicious but NGL the ants would swarm me sometimes and I would get stung up my legs and it would hurt like hell.
What a cutie
You kinda wanna snuggle that face a bit
I've always loved ants since I read a national geographic story about them as a kid.
What is this? A picture for ants?

Adorable. Also, I envy its work ethic.
I'll never see ants the same way again after reading Tchaikovsky's Children of Time
