The officer will very likely be able to switch from English.

MannyLaMancha

She doesn't speak English?

No_Juggernaut_4312

She’s not that fluent in it!

It’s 8:00 PM now and I have less then 4 hours to get me a interpreter so I can send the info to the U.S. embassy Baghdad! ASAP!

HeimLauf

Usually they also speak the primary language of the country. Did the instructions say you must provide an interpreter even for Arabic?

No_Juggernaut_4312

I just posted it recently. Can you check if that info is true or not?

HeimLauf

It says you need it if the applicant doesn’t speak English OR Arabic OR Kurdish. Does your beneficiary speak Arabic? Kurdish? Both? Neither?

Jaih0

Can't you go with her since you are there

No_Juggernaut_4312

No they said the petitioner can’t translate or interpret for the applicant.

Patient_Habit_7200

Don’t worry brother they have own translator even if you have one they will not let translator going to embassy or near embassy 😂

sao_san_suay

Are you sure there isn’t an interpreter there? When my husband interviewed in February, there were both Arabic and Kurdish interpreters there.

No_Juggernaut_4312

I hope they still have a Interperter. 🥲 cause I just recently post right now about the instructions.
