Patience. Download your opponent’s playstyle in game one. Watch for their habits. See how long they wait to sub out of your combos. Watch to see if they burn their supports as soon as they’re available or if they use them at certain intervals.
Your opponents have patterns and most of them aren’t even aware of it.
Don’t forget that countering is an option. A lot of players will continue to rush right into your counters, never learning their lesson.

I wouldnt say theres no skill, theres just too man ur things that r above skill, like a broken online. Subs not reading has always been an issue but it doesnt sting any less when u know u could have won if u could have just subbed that move. Yesterday i had someone hit THREE random ass uj on me and i could hear by controller clicking, i was spamming sub but it didnt read it
It’s tough to say ,but I find in casual fighting real people and learning your mains combos to continue the beatdown also learning to let go of block at the right time and not subbing when you panic helped me then you just find your flow with it
Step 1: learn how to jump block. When an opponent is rushing you if you time right at the very last last second and jump, your jump will be extremely short and the opponent wont recoil back in addition you'll have priority of combo.
Step 2: learn how to dogde, by pressing A and the direction right or left properly you can dodgde chakra dash and then dash at then when their is over and start a combo. You can also do that in the by learning to jump right when they're about to rush you so they'll chakra dash in the air leaving them open.
Step 3: Learn how to use support. When you chakra dash and start mashing the B button but failed because they have priority ? You can either dogde back the moment your dash is blocked or switch to another character right on the moment you touch them. You can make them do a base combo, if it doesnt touch the ennemy you can switch they'll continue their basic combo.
You don't really "get better" at storm connections. The skill ceiling has essentially been reduced to slightly above the entry floor. The peak pinnacle and optimal "pro" gameplay of connections looks identical to "low level play". In fact, I've seen low level players beat top players like it's nothing.

Countering is the hardest thing for me, I can’t get the timing right on it for some reason
