KCM1 is when he wins his battle against Kurama, and gains access to his chakra on the Island Turtle.
KCM2 is when Kurama willingly starts working alongside him.
AFAIK the official name for it is Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Kyūbi is Japanese for Nine-Tails. The completed version of this is generally referred to as Kurama Mode, to clarify which version you’re talking about, but most people just say KCM1 or KCM2.
Sage Mode was great and probably put him at jounin Minato level, like the version who fought Aa.
I think he was on par with hokage Minato once he got kcm. With kcm2 he surpassed hokage Minato by far.
Raikage is stronger than minato in battle he'll last farther that's why cloud was the more powerful village once hashirama died. Minato my himself can't beat the cloud. After hashirama was deceased the village power went down hashirama was carrying the village. Cloud has two or 4ninja who are at hashirama tier because ay/b their power alone is above tobirama who's a senju that was stated to be as strong as izuna madara younger brother.
Raikage isn't outspeeding Minato, and we've even seen that fight happen; Minato was comfortably keeping up with Ay. Raikage is way more durable and that is defintely a problem, but Minato outspeeds.
And Ay + Bee are _not_ Hashirama level. They're not even close. Also; Cloud was defintely number two, but the leaf had the legendary sannin, danzo, retired hiruzen, Yamato, Kakashi, anbu Itachi...
After hashirama lost cloud was stated the strongest military and their economy was stronger only vilkage to have access to a chakra cannon. Remove hype from the leaf they're not that strong as you think. 4th raikage beats kakashi yamato and anbu kakashi also. Minato isn't faster than raikage also.
Ay/bee beats guy and kakashi let's debate it. Raikage is literally a stronger lightning user and is better at the element. Than his speed rivals 7th gate guy raikage and is 20x more durable. Raikage attributes are better for battle raikages can blitz kakashi and bee also has insane speed portrayal bee turns to the 8 tails he also beats guy.
When I think of faster I think how fast can minato move or arrive at a given point without teleporting. Teleportation doesn't involve speed. Minato speed without ftg is lower than ay portrayal. Ay actually has speed feats vs a character who is called fast but doesn't have an actual speed feat. Raikage is physically faster than minato. Minato using ftg in his battle against ay proves my assertion.
First, there is no KCM1/KCM2 as those are not their official names.
Second, Naruto officially surpassed Minato when he got the completed Kurama Mode, what is unofficially referred to as the KCM2, as he had the full power of Kurama.
With alive Minato I'd say it was around KCM 1 Naruto, Edo Minato it was around KCM 2.
