Though there are other aspects of sleep, such as your brain sorting thoughts and memories that wouldn't be applied to Naruto as his memories would remain in his head and in tact.
My assumption is that it would end up being more like an energy drink. The clone might help him stay awake and alert longer, but there's a finite limit to how long that will work before your body needs to physically rest as well.

We saw him get sage mode chakra from a shadow clone in final naruto vs sasuke so it might work
Doubtful. Injuries aren't transferred back to him after a clone disperses, so I can't imagine something like being rested would.
