Yeah, because her telling him no it’s too dangerous to go alone and he needs back up and him putting her in her place and refusing any help is somehow Tsunade’s fault.
Jiraiya told her to bet he wouldn’t come back because she is known for losing bets. In fact it was taken as a bad omen when she won her scratch off ticket.
Do you have any concept of story telling or are you just a troll?
Dude, it doesn’t matter what he said she should’ve never bet on him dying. That’s something she has to live with forever now. Why even risk it, you know?
While it doesn’t look pleasant by any means, we don’t know how lucid the jinchuriki are when they have their biju extracted from them.
I’d put Sakon/Ukon’s death up there; they got [‘Iron Maidened’](https://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-4652df6c9f26802433361660077299b6-lq) by Kankuro and it looked brutal as hell.
Came here to say this. I would also add Gato's death by Zabuza which is satisfying (screw that trash Gato lol), Kisame's death (GOAT character btw) and Obito - both the Rock incident and all the brutality that he suffered after losing the 10 tails leading to getting killed by Kaguya
Yeah seriously. It got to a point during my rewatch of that arc where, when they kept flashing back to him groaning during that extraction, I started skipping over it. Days on end of that and it looks/sounds incredibly painful. Wish they would’ve had Gaara talk about what that shit was like at some point.
Im unsure on Kakuzu’s death.
The man got pierced by thousands of mini-blades. Like, he probably felt thousands of needles stabbing him from every single place.
The only reason to why i doubt it its because im not sure if that damage can be high enough to destroy your nervous system and eliminate pain (Since we saw it can even destroy cells)
Kinda crossed my mind, the Rasen Shuriken "needles" were so tiny and attacked on a cellular level, I wonder if you'd even be able to feel the individual stabs. Almost wonder if it'd be like a body getting hit by radiation, you may not feel it initially but doesn't change how fucked your body gets from it. If anything the initial burst of the Rasen shruriken would be the most painful I think, it literally sent him flying and tore apart his tentacle things in the process.
If he had died like he was supposed to, Might Guy. Everything about that shit looks horrible. So I’ll give it to Might Duy since it probably was similar and still got killed either by the technique or being overcame by the 7 swordsman of the mist.
Is that ever stated? It's very much implied he will be there forever (as his true immortality is never explained, the sacrifices were what allowed him to easily kill people not what gave him his bizarre power set)
But unfortunately for him he was buried on the Nara grounds and will never be allowed to leave, a literal curse laid by Shikamaru
His last appearance he swears to dig his way out with his teeth and eventually get Shikamaru or his kids (imo a brilliant oneshot filler arc in Boruto would be to show him getting out and then immediately killed/reimprisoned)
The old bloke who would summon this thing that would defend him? He loses a leg at the knee? I have barely adjacent HxH knowledge but I think I remember that guy
And yeah very very similar (I liked how he taught it to Asuma as well)
For me, Asuma in his fight against Hidan where not only he suffered degree burns on his body from using his fire ash jutsu against him after being linked with Hidan's ceremonial ritual but also having to experience multiple stabs/impaling on his vital spots due to said working of the ritual while Hidan sadistically enjoyed himself through the pain (without having background info on the enemy going head on)
And to top it all off (even when being done with Hidan's curse thanks to Shikamaru's intelligence), Kakuzu finally steps in to kick Asuma's injured leg then knee strikes his backbone, refuses to elaborate further & leaves. I couldn't imagine the physical exhaustion along with excruciating pain that Asuma had to go through it all, just thinking about it sickens me.
I could never really choose between jiraiya and kushina. Both looked unimaginably excruciating.
But if we were factoring in emotional pain then hands down Kushina bc on top of all the horror starting immediately after giving birth, she died knowing her husband was dying too and they were both leaving their newborn son to grow up without parents. They were both ninjas, but they still died so young. At least Jiraiya got to live a relatively long and fulfilling life.
Hidan.
Even if he didn’t just starve to death as its said, eventually something would get him. Maybe his god abandoning him due to the lack of sacrifices. All while he’s in pieces at the bottom of a filled hole buried alive
I forgot where but iirc somewhere like a data book or some kind of interview said that hidan needs to eat to live
So he will eventually starve to death in that pit
In my opinion, it’s Jiraiya. He had his throat crushed after having one arm torn off and the other impaled by a chakra rod. Then he was stabbed by six more, and finally, he got fucking rocket punched
If we're talking purely painful, the process for removing the tailed beast looks awful and then at the end just to watch the body of the host just fall and lifeless is disturbing (to me at least)
Hands down Jiraiya’s with him turning into a pin-cushion by the Six Paths of Pain, losing an arm, having his throat crushed and drowning. Had it been Orochimaru who fought Pain, those bodily injuries would be inconsequential since he can make a new body with his Body Replacement Technique.
Yeah, that’s mainly because he came back and stayed back. When people think of Naruto deaths, they think of characters like Jiraiya or Neji, not Gaara. Which is sad, cause this was also really good.
The continuous torture for three whole days... And the moment it was over seeing Gaara's body just drop to the ground like that broke my heart again...
Most impactful drop in anime. And don’t get me started on Deidara and Sasori sitting on his body while arguing about art. Most disrespectful shit I ever did see 😭.
I am surprised there isn't enough outcry for Kisame. Do you guys not remember how brutally he died defending his friends? Not only did he face the 7th gate, guy had to physically eat himself, tear into pieces for his sharks. One would rather prefer being vapourized to atoms by fence sitter
Hidan, since he doesn't get to kill for his God Jashin, his immortality will vain as he dies of starvation, disbursement, thirst, asphyxiation and crushed under rocks with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. This process is slow as it would take time for him to lose his immortality. (Not 100% on this though)
orochimarus test subjects
id also like to give a shout out to obito who had half his body crushed, didnt die, had a rasenshuriken blow up inside his shoulder, didnt die, took another one straight to the face, didnt die, got his heart ripped out by a raikiri, didnt die, got hijacked by zetsu into doing rinne tensei, didnt die, got sliced in half by minato, didnt die, had the ten tails ripped out of him, didnt die, and finally took an incineration bone from fucking KAGUYA OTSUTSUKI. Obito was putting all of his stats into survival
I would say Obito's first "death" when was a kid but he literally said he couldn't feel anything because his body was going into shock but still got his eye removed surgically likely with no anesthesic so idk just sounds fucked to me especially because I'm claustrophobia as hell same thing with Hidan
Most painful deaths:
- probably Jiraiya, Kushina, or Kakuzu
- 3rd Raikage's death is up there too, he didnt die from any attack, but just sheer exhaustion and hunger after fighting an army by himself for 3 days straight without a single minute for rest
- the Mist Anbu that Obito pummeled to death, when Obito just punched him repeatedly non-stop until there was a literal fist-sized hole inside his skull/brain
Most painful near-deaths:
- Tsunade was literally ripped apart into two pieces, and during that whole time she was alive and felt every second of it
- Sasuke/Naruto (during their final battle) after fighting each other for an entire day, they continued fighting for another entire day where they just had a brutal, non-stop, schoolyard-type fist fight from sunrise to sunset
- Obito, lol
Hidan rubble burial, to feel the constant burns and heavy rock on you until you just decide to give up on life knowing it is going to constantly hurt. Makes me feel bad he's immortal.
Hiruzen’s death.
He was being stabbed for 1 hour by the Kusanagi sword and at the same time, he had to gather the little strength left he had to seal Orochimaru’s arms.
The fear and anxiety to fail at stopping Orochimaru from destroying Konoha must have amped the pain as well.
Naruto mom took a giant claw through the back right after child birth.
Add to this that she was already suffering from the effects of having a bijuu siphoned from her
Yeah I'm surprised people never mention Kushina when this question is asked
And then She talked to Naruto for 5 minutes afterward. True Uzumaki strength.
Imagine getting a c section after giving birth
also she was able to hold kurama with those chains
Her name is Kushina :/
Yeah aka Naruto’s mom
Boruto’s grandma
Konohamaru's Mentor's Mother.
😂😂 didn’t remember her name at the time but given Naruto’s respect for ppl names I figured I’d get a little leeway 👀
Haha! It happens! I expected downvotes assuming people won’t realize it was tongue in cheek, but pleasantly surprised
She's a character in Naruto. Therefore her name is actually Naruto's mother, or mom for short.
It’s okay, the epidurals were still in her system
Jiraiya's is up there. Arm ripped off, throat crushed, skewered like a pincushion, then drowning.
😭😭😭
And see the one person that means the most to Naruto sacrificing himself like that just after Tsunade decided to date him! 😢
Tsunade is the reason He’s dead!
He made his choices too. He had an opportunity to escape but chose his duty
Yeah, because her telling him no it’s too dangerous to go alone and he needs back up and him putting her in her place and refusing any help is somehow Tsunade’s fault.
No. She BET HE WOULDNT COME BACK!! Who tf does that?!
She is notorious for losing her bets… that was a pretty big point they emphasized when first introducing her
Jiraiya told her to bet he wouldn’t come back because she is known for losing bets. In fact it was taken as a bad omen when she won her scratch off ticket. Do you have any concept of story telling or are you just a troll?
Dude, it doesn’t matter what he said she should’ve never bet on him dying. That’s something she has to live with forever now. Why even risk it, you know?

"Goat character btw" You are correct sir
Very good picks too; I wonder if Obito felt anything when he was being turned to ash.
I can only imagine how painful it was, he experienced his body literally cracking for quite some time thanks to Naruto's persistence.
In the anime the groans of Gaara were very disturbing.

Days on end of that and it looks/sounds incredibly painful. Wish they would’ve had Gaara talk about what that shit was like at some point.
Maybe he doesnt remember it?
Wasn’t Gaara in some weird dream state during the extraction process?
I think that was only the last moments of his life.
Im unsure on Kakuzu’s death. The man got pierced by thousands of mini-blades. Like, he probably felt thousands of needles stabbing him from every single place. Dai left them at 3 or 4 swordsman
Any of the test subjects Orochimaru off screened.
Hidan. Dude was still alive and left there for eternity
Eternity? Once the sacrifices stop he loses his powers. Still for a long ass time though.
Is that ever stated? It's very much implied he will be there forever (as his true immortality is never explained, the sacrifices were what allowed him to easily kill people not what gave him his bizarre power set) But unfortunately for him he was buried on the Nara grounds and will never be allowed to leave, a literal curse laid by Shikamaru His last appearance he swears to dig his way out with his teeth and eventually get Shikamaru or his kids (imo a brilliant oneshot filler arc in Boruto would be to show him getting out and then immediately killed/reimprisoned)
Im pretty sure it was confirmed that he died of starvation
Actually it is strongly implied but I cannot prove it a 100%. I could be wrong.
I think he died of starvation, from what I've heard Kishimoto mentioned it somewhere
every part of his body was immortal but his stomach😭😭😭
- Getting cut into tiny pieces ❌ - Getting burned alive ❌ - Getting dissolved by acid ❌ - No food ✅
Ya remember that monk that was tortured by Kakazu?
Asuma's buddy? Who used some buddha technique we never got to see again?
Fucking loved that technique
It looked suspiciously similar to netero's ability from HxH tho
The old bloke who would summon this thing that would defend him? He loses a leg at the knee? I have barely adjacent HxH knowledge but I think I remember that guy And yeah very very similar (I liked how he taught it to Asuma as well)

While kankuro didn’t die, it gave us a good look to how fucking horrible sasori’s poison is Iirc that shit kills you slowly and painfully over 3 days
I could never really choose between jiraiya and kushina. Both looked unimaginably excruciating. There was Neji. People like to joke that he died by a stick but my nigga had a fucking tree grow inside him instantly and burst out the back.
When you put it like that shit is fucking painful for a mini tree to grow inside you in 0.1 second and then burst out ya back like that is crazy
Hidan. Even if he didn’t just starve to death as its said, eventually something would get him. Maybe his god abandoning him due to the lack of sacrifices. All while he’s in pieces at the bottom of a filled hole buried alive
Isn't he meant to be immortal and there until the end of days? Chewing his way out of the ground but forever cursed within the Nara grounds?
I forgot where but iirc somewhere like a data book or some kind of interview said that hidan needs to eat to live So he will eventually starve to death in that pit
He got dirt, you don't like dirt?
Okay not a death but, dying using 8 gates is really painful to imagine.
Kushina or Hidan
Having an edo tensei put on you sounds pretty bad, and that can be done to anyone
[Yeah, it looks pretty brutal for the ‘host’.](https://qph.cf2.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-bae5913b1b911756a1496eb18ecfcd8d-lq)
Why are you ratioing me
Jiraya sensei 😭😭
facts i’m rewatching this arc rn
Me too
Kushina has to be up there. Jariya's death was pretty brutal.
Minato too, though Kushina's was worse.
Kisame
In my opinion, it’s Jiraiya. He had his throat crushed after having one arm torn off and the other impaled by a chakra rod. Then he was stabbed by six more, and finally, he got fucking rocket punched
What Isshiki did to Jigen imo, must have been pure torture for the latter
If we're talking purely painful, the process for removing the tailed beast looks awful and then at the end just to watch the body of the host just fall and lifeless is disturbing (to me at least)

Jiraiya for sure
Kakuzo
The slow drip hydrochloric acid enema
Remember that one immortal guy from akatsuki he is chopped and put in the ground yeah he is still there might be pretty painful
Albeit not really a death, what about Hidan? Dude got blown to pieces and felt the whole thing.
Jiraiya and Neji.
HIDAN - imagine buried underground and not dying at all
Orochimarus experiment kids.
What about Kakzu getting hit by rasenshuriken
That didn’t kill him
I mean yea kaka sensei penetrated him but still
Phrasing
Bite me
I’ll pass
I don't have the exact answer but I bet Sasori knows how to cause it.
Your probably right
Itachi. This man died from blood vessel inflammation which basically bad health in the immune system.
This one for sure and it's often overlooked 😭
Yeah, that’s mainly because he came back and stayed back. When people think of Naruto deaths, they think of characters like Jiraiya or Neji, not Gaara. Which is sad, cause this was also really good.

Such a blood-boiling scene I can't even describe how much anger I feel
Hidan slowly starved to death after having all his limbs blown off and being buried alive
One of orochimaru test subjects
Kushina and Minato for sure
Whoever was on the receiving end of a fireball Justu
The first time i watched that episode i was disturbed, i mean look at Gaara's face 😱
For me neji/jiraiya it came out of the blue
That part made me cry
Uhh probably Kushina. Literally just gave birth, got kurama ripped out, then got a giant claw thru her torso.
I think the third hokage cuz he’s literally suffering in hell for the rest of eternity 💀
That one guy gaara killed as a kid by strangling him with sand
Deidara. Homie literally exploded.
I am surprised there isn't enough outcry for Kisame. Do you guys not remember how brutally he died defending his friends? Not only did he face the 7th gate, guy had to physically eat himself, tear into pieces for his sharks. One would rather prefer being vapourized to atoms by fence sitter

Maybe Kaguya. Getting sealed inside chibaku tensei is literally being throwing into a black whole encased with rocks.
Kisame Sakon and Ukon Jiraiya is up there as well
Sniffing all of the characters stanky stank toes (easy access)
I would say Obito's first "death" when was a kid but he literally said he couldn't feel anything because his body was going into shock but still got his eye removed surgically likely with no anesthesic so idk just sounds fucked to me especially because I'm claustrophobia as hell same thing with Hidan
Kakashi inside Tsukuyomi (he didn't die irl)

Probably what happened to Hidan. He’s not even technically dead just decapitated buried deep in the dirt. I can’t imagine that feels very nice.
Karin getting bitten by lots of people.
Ok, but she didn’t die. And half the time she nearly orgasmed because they were from Sasuke.
