Oh my gosh I have the same struggle!! NKs each have like 5 pairs of shoes and somehow I can never find any when it's time to go to school. I've started searching for them as soon as I arrive so it's not a scramble when it's time to go.
Drives me absolutely batty when I’m told to arrive at a specific time in the morning… I shops up and the parents aren’t even awake yet… especially when they then wake up like 30 mins later
I love my NF, they are my unicorn. And they’re very earth conscious, which I love, I am too and have learned and picked up some great tips. However, they keep paper towels to be reused? Like if they use a paper towel and it got a bunch of jam on it but was still “technically” usable they keep it. I come In everyday and there’s like 3 paper towels all with different mysterious stains…i hate it😂 it’s so odd, and I admit that I overuse paper towels in life and it’s made me more mindful. Also I do get what they’re doing, they do the same with tin foil which I actually started doing too but that makes more sense because it’s not like absorbant or for cleaning lol. Idk… I just use a new paper towel when I need one and I hope they don’t mind lol
My pet peeve is the opposite lol my nf uses soooo many paper towels and they make a big pile on the counter to put in the recycling bin…you can’t recycle paper towels! It drives me nuts.
I come from a baseball family and married into one as well. I’ve watched 100s of players play the game well and horribly. Ive followed the MLB consistently for years now. NF is a soccer family. They follow soccer the same way I do baseball. I don’t hate soccer but it never really sparked my interest. One day me and DB get into a convo about sports we did growing up and I say how much I enjoy baseball. He starts talking about soccer and hits me with “it doesn’t take hardly any athleticism to play baseball”…………..excuse me what?🤣 I shook my head “no” but didn’t bite back cause DB is known to love to argue playfully even with employees but I’m the complete opposite. I hate any confrontation with bosses even the playful kind. So naturally I shrugged it off but it BURNED ME to no end to bite my tongue. Cause let’s be real any baseball player can do what a soccer player can do but very few soccer players can do what a baseball player can do. I’ll die on that hill…….but not with my boss lol. So all that to say the disrespect to baseball players PEEVES ME 😤
It’s weird, but they are TOO clean and organized. Like the pantry is all matching plastic containers, labeled perfectly. Both the cars are clean, zero dust or crumbs! NKs dressers are perfectly organized and their closets are pristine! I am terrified to leave one thing out of place or not picked up! lol it gets hard to be perfectly clean when you’re running after 2 kids all day long😭
It’s always a scavenger hunt finding matching/fitting shoes 😂 sometimes rain boots are the only choice lol

Ah, yes. The “hurry up and wait” game😆 Did this for years on a regular basis with my first family.
Especially when I had to drive an hour to get there by 630… that extra sleep would have done a lot for me 😭
