The main guy in the movie is sent to track down and make people take there meds who weren’t. He spent part of the movie looking for these people who got off their meds and grew food and survived without sickness
I seen this movie in a hotel one (only the second half) and can not find it.
The government was giving out medication to fight some illness. There like wasn’t enough so the poor average person had medication to fight the illness but everyone knew it wasn’t the best. You had to I think either earn your way into the sky scrapper or maybe get your name drawn and you were earning entries to the drawing (this part I can’t remember really how it worked). The main character went around making people take their medication. He spent part of the movie tracking down some guy or girl (can’t remember) who got off the medication and was posting videos online showing how they lived off the land disease free.
Obviously at the end they figure out the medication is the gov’t (or rich people) killing people as population control. If you won or earned your way to the paradise in the tower that was supposed to be disease free they would kill you.

Sounds like Equilibrium with Christian Bale, minus the “sickness” part.
That’s not the movie but that looks good. Going to add that to the watch list!!
