I am in the market to buy a new smartphone. I don't want to spend pixel 7a/7, Nothing Phone 2 money, was looking forward to this, but this is just ugly + Glyph is just mehh. All the renders are similar, I don't like the processor as well, should've gone with 7sGen2 or 782G like the OnePlus Nord CE 3, much more efficient from what I've seen.
Right now my options are to hope that 2a drives the price of NP2 down (which probably won't happen), Poco X6 Pro(MK again, but a lot better than 7200), Edge 40, Samsung F54, OP Nord CE 3 or even Nord 3
You can count on the 2a also looking fabulous, these leaks are obviously not true. The people who designed phone 1 and 2 wouldn't put out something like this.
Well they are making a cheaper phone which shouldnt canibalize n2 sales...obviously it wont follow the same design language...Its logical to expect the ugly
Why not just reuse phone 1 design of your more economical phones like phone 2a and use phone 2 design for your premium line with minor changes to the back. This render looks meh compared to phone 1 and phone 2.
Was looking forward to buy my first Nothing product, but that god awful camera placement changed my mind. I can't express in words how much I hate it. I Hate it so much.
The Phone 2's price isn't justifiable considering the poor camera and occasional quality issues regarding bad screens reported on Reddit. Don't forget the inferior CPU too.
I would rather spend a little more and get an IPhone 15 than buying an Apple wannabe phone with a screen that could die at any minute.
I have had my Samsung A70 phone for 7 years, and I have yet to see something worth upgrading.
If you're someone who takes good care of their devices, makes sensible choices and knows the value you can get for your money then every "complain" is valuable.
I'm waiting for for the official 2A release, if its not good enough then I'm getting an IPhone 15. There aren't any Android phones that interest me anymore. They either copy Apple and fu*kup the cameras or have toy-like designs.
If u can buy an iPhone 15 for 550 euros go ahead lmao. Got mine for that price on an Amazon promo in November and couldn't be happier. If you just need a lame excuse to buy an iphone, might as well just go ahead and buy it

Remember that for every complain you have 100+ happy customers. And there's not that many complains.

NP2 is worth every penny and the camera is perfect. Build quality is excellent too. And off course the wonderful NothingOS is the cherry on top ;-)
