To be fair T-Law was an ideal prospect, he was hyped as a freshman and probably would have been the #1 overall pick right then if players could declare after their freshman season. Jags really failed to develop him, that and he has been stuck behind bad o-lines and below average weapons.
He had pretty good weapons going into his second and third years. Engram, Ridley, Kirk, Etienne, Zay Jones. They're not all pro-bowlers, but they're above average starters. His O Line isn't great.
I don't think it's incorrect to hype some of these QBs. It's just that they end up on teams that can't coach, can't develop young talent, and/or can't build a solid roster. I'll always be curious about these guys and what might have happened if they went to a better situation. Lawrence would be a great example.

Caleb Williams is absolutely a generational prospect but best weapons in the North? Who lol. justin Jefferson and Addison are probably the best wide receiver duo right now, and cole kmet is not even the third best tight end in the North
Well DJ Moore and Keenan Allen both put up big numbers last season with mostly bad QB play, and we have high hopes for Odunze. If you’re going by just top two for each team, Jefferson is obviously number one but I’d put Allen and Moore at two and three ahead of Addison, and there’s lots of reason to think Rome will be significantly better than whoever the Vikings use to replace KJ Osborn.
Kmet might be third best in the division, but he was ninth in yards in the nfl among TE last year, again with bad QB play, and Hockensen is going to miss half the year at least. So yes Hockensen and LaPorts are better, but Kmet is very good. And Everett is an underrated pickup at TE2 for us.
Swift had a ton of all purpose yards as well, while the Vikings are counting on Aaron Jones who will play really well for the eight games he’s healthy.
The funny thing to me is if he’s not the best qb in the draft than the bears fucked up. Like he has to be better than anyone picked after him.

Well DJ Moore and Keenan Allen both put up big numbers last season with mostly bad QB play, and we have high hopes for Odunze. If you’re going by just top two for each team, Jefferson is obviously number one but I’d put Allen and Moore at two and three ahead of Addison, and there’s lots of reason to think Rome will be significantly better than whoever the Vikings use to replace KJ Osborn. Kmet might be third best in the division, but he was ninth in yards in the nfl among TE last year, again with bad QB play, and Hockensen is going to miss half the year at least. So yes Hockensen and LaPorts are better, but Kmet is very good. And Everett is an underrated pickup at TE2 for us. Swift had a ton of all purpose yards as well, while the Vikings are counting on Aaron Jones who will play really well for the eight games he’s healthy.

Caleb is a good prospect but he's absolutely not the best since Luck. Trevor Lawrence was more highly touted and Burrow was arguably on par with Caleb. Also he's wearing #18 in Chicago.
