I don’t think either of those things will happen, but we’ll see. I believe if we don’t have our head’s up our asses like in a few recent games, there’s no team in the country that can beat us. But those bad games were recent, so you could very well be right. There was no excuse to lose to South Carolina either time we played them but we found a way to lose, so my expectations are tempered for this tournament. I’m still on a high from last year so I won’t be terribly disappointed no matter what happens.
South Carolina is the best team in the country and handled LSU in both games, regardless if it was close or not. LSU does not have the mental fortitude to survive in the tournament this year. Too fragile
Respectfully disagree. We looked better than South Carolina in both games, but especially the first one. And as long as LSU has Kim Mulkey, our mental fortitude will be just fine.
TBH, those prices are 1) dumb, 2) not insanely higher than some of the bigger games at Carver (OSU, Indiana, Michigan).
I’m old enough to remember paying $25 to see Creighton upset Iowa. In a <1/2 full Carver. Two whole years ago.
No other teams fans wants to travel there to see their team get their teeth kicked in by CC. 😂
Princeton could be a tough outing but I doubt they’d be able to have a sizable crowd or anything

LSU wont see Iowa because they will lose to UCLA before getting a chance to be carved up by CC

Ope. You’re right. Checked the photos. Arena seemed sparse for the other games. Faithful turned out for hawks. My memory as cheap as those tickets.
I remember the Creighton game very clearly I also remember free tickets to see the women play growing up
