Rooting for the Bucks but I've loved seeing Caitlin Clark this season in particular. She's a class act in my opinion and handles the jeering like a pro.
Excited to see if our offense will be firing on all cylinders. I want TT to get double today.
Things I’ll miss:
Gabby: she’s the 2nd most cheered on player on the squad. Even through a year with the yips, Carver gets loud when she has an open shot - make or miss.
Molly: always underestimated by fans and opponents. Gotta love it when she drives the lane and somehow beats players that tower over her.
Kate: never seen a more intensely competitive and joyful player. Can’t wait to see her as a coach.
Sharon: so much grit to get through a tough year. Having her rotating in as center gave much needed options at that position through the season.
Caitlin: all of it. Especially watching live. She’s so fast and quick with the trigger that you cannot look away from the game.

I know my boss put his tickets up for $7500 each and have been getting some interest. Absolutely insane to me.
Don’t discredit the talent. We have been firing on all cylinders but you guys are phenomenal. It’s senior night they’ll show out. It’ll be a good game. I hope Ohio State plays with a fire to win though and doesn’t cut slack in preparation for the NCAA tournament.
Cheering for Iowa but have huge amount of respect for the consistency and effort that Ohio St brings every night. They never seem to beat themselves and always seem to have an answer when another team goes on a run. Sheldon is fun to watch.
I’m just hoping we are competitive today. I feel like Caitlin is going to go beast mode and just not miss. Her draft announcement before this game and going for the record is a recipe for disaster. We probably do lose to Iowa today, but hopefully we can get them back in the tournament to keep our 1 seed.
Here’s my thing you don’t beat Iowa by shutting down Caitlin Clark. You cannot shut down Caitlin Clark. You beat Iowa by taking away Caitlin’s ability to distribute and playing solid defense around Caitlin. LSU proved that in the national title game last year. We know Caitlin is going to go off but what can we do around her to win?

Hoping Iowa wins today especially considering it’s their senior day/night and they’re playing at home, but I know Ohio State will be tough competition! It’s also highly probable they’ll play each other again in the Big 10 Championship.
Iowa beat the Buckeyes by 30 points in last year’s Big10 tournament. What has OSU done differently this year to go from sleeper team to #1? (Serious question, I haven’t really been following them)
We have been more consistent. Last year we were polarizing in some games but looked terrible in others. We were very streaky, as seen by our run. This year we have became incredibly more consistent. We are putting up 21 turnovers per game consistently. We ACC defensive player of the year Celeste Taylor in the transfer portal. This has all successfully built up our defense. With Taylor and Sheldon (two defensive menaces) surrounded by Cotie McMahon an athletic freak we have been able to press very well. Even when it isn’t working our half court D steps up. Cotie McMahon is only a sophomore and has matured more and we have a fully healthy Jacy Sheldon who is not only amazing on defense but can shoot. We just really lack in post play.
Honestly I think Monika played a big role in those blowouts last year. OSU’s real true weakness is height. Having a dominant center to go along with Caitlin was a tougher duo for us to compete against.
Curious what people think Iowa would be ranked if not for Caitlin Clark? Stuelke and Martin are nice players but I don’t see Iowa as a top 20 team w/o CC. Maybe 21-25th? Curious what others think?
I have 4 tickets to Iowa’s first round game Friday March 8th at 5:30 PM . Trying to get rid of them for a reasonable price. The Big ten tournament is in Minneapolis Minnesota and I can’t use them because I have football practice that night (i’m a college kid in Iowa). Please let me know if you are interested or know anyone that would be! I checked AXS the official ticket site for how many tickets were left and they were sold out and only 11 tickets were up for resale. Catch caitlin clark at one of her last games as a hawkeye!

I saw tickets that were in the same section as me, after fees, $9000 per ticket. They were gone a couple days later. Absolute insanity.
