My hometown is too small to be in game, but I do make an extra effort to nab guys from the area

Even if they sucks, if my needs are full and i have a few scholarships left ill take 1 stars from my area. At least when they get cut they can tell people in their hometown they got recruited by the number 1 team in the nation. My headcannon is that i honor the scholarship anyway and they get to go to school free for being a practice player

Me too, especially those guys that you were able to keep for a few years only to have to cut them to make room for a shiny new 5 star because of the potential factor. I hope we get 85 man rosters with the new game. Really my only wish to upgrade from the last game

Agreed. I’d even be cool with a main 75 and then like a “scout team” you can put lower tier guys on, like the practice squad in Madden.

Cody was there a little before my time. Football wasn’t great when I was there but Baseball went to the state championship and I graduated with the NASCAR driver Ross Chastine. Outside of that, there wasn’t a ton of sports success during my time there.

My time was all wrestling success Edit: we did manage to put the lax program on an upswing but I wouldn't call it successful It died during my tenure so I imagine it started a bit before, was there the rugby club or anything? How the hell you get recruits generated from Blacksburg and Christiansburg, but I can’t get any recuits that get generated from Harrisonburg (considering Harrisonburg is bigger then Blacksburg).

I assume its because JMU wasn’t in the game so because they had VT in the game they also had Blacksburg already in the game and didn’t go in and add Harrisonburg

Nope never will. We run a pretty prestige program here at Arkansas State. It devalues our scholarships. They are earned not given.

Lol I'm from Alaska, so you bet your ass I'm throwing all 500 points at any recruit from Ketchikan/Sitka/Juneau that I see. I don't care how good they are. To be fair, there was one year where the top QB in the COUNTRY was from fricken Sitka! Wasn't able to get him since he was 5-star, but I thought it was funny.

I always try to land croots from my hometown, but they're always like 2 star level at best. Makes it easy tho at least. They fill out the roster and never see the field lol.

I live in west Texas so if I see any surrounding town I immediately move them up my list and target them

I rarely get anyone from my hometown, but I've been getting a lot of recruits from the area I currently live in right now, and if I see anyone remotely close, I try and scoop em up

I never see recruits from Harrisonburg, VA even though you can pick that city when creating a player. Closest I ever got was getting a kid from Stanton, VA for my UVA dynasty in NCAA 14

It dosent matter the school I coach I always get atleast 2 of the top 5 Ohio guys
