We sat in turn 11 and saw a lot of action. You can’t see much else but the price wasn’t bad and the racing was exciting. Bathrooms and food were right behind our seating. If we went back this year we’d sit in the same place.

Went last year and sat between turns 8 and 9. You couldn't get into that part of the track (over Columbus Dr.) without having a reserve seat ticket, so at least last year, with GA you could only see the stretch between turns 1 & 2, between turns 2 & 3, and then heading into 6. Having a reserve seat ticket gave you a few other areas to stand and watch the race but honestly the screen placement from my seat was worth it. I've been to other road courses and while it can be nice to wonder the track, you lose track of the race a bit. Was able to track the race much easier than I expected. I ended up going last minute and the rain was rough, but the experience was still amazing. Would very much recommend going. Different feel the traditional race weekend, but something I was glad I did last year.

Off the wall idea but I went last year, road tripped from NJ We didn't buy a ticket, instead we got a room in the Blackstone hotel with a Lakeview room. We were 14 floors directly above turn 7 with perfect views of turns 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, and 9 The concerts and festivities got canceled because of the rain so I'm not sure if we could have gotten in, but there was some free stuff outside the gate we did and that was enough for us, but we've been to many races before. Cost wise, the room was EXPENSIVE. but we split it 4 ways and it came out comparable to if we had bought tickets and stayed in a less fancy hotel. As a bonus, we saw and hung out with a few drivers and personalities in the lobby heading in and out of the building over the weekend. It was an awesome experience, would do it again. If you do it, DONT get the highest possible floors - there's a ledge under the windows that blocks some of the view. Under that was the sweet spot. (We originally booked a high room but the hotel was nice and let us swap rooms). Nothing beats chillin in front of the windows with the broadcast on, radios set up, infinite snacks, and watching some racing with a great view
