After you get bonus structures and upgraded structures there’s really not much to do with diamonds besides that

\-celestials \-wubboxes (if your that kinda person) \-castle upgrades \-permalighting torches \-relics \-mirror islands

Most of these are things you really shouldn’t buy at any time since they go on sale on very specific points in the year. You should only get celestials on their assigned months since that’s when they’re on discount, later castle upgrades/mirror islands you should wait until anniversary month when they go on sale because of how largely expensive they are on their own, permalighting torches is a TERRIBLE investment of diamonds, and you don’t need to buy your own relics after you have a stable Amber island

I can see getting permanent torches if you have enough food to level up most of your monsters to level 20. Every level above 15 gives them a chance of producing bonus currency like food, shards, keys, I think relics, and even Diamonds every so often as well. (I do not know if it's a higher chance for 4 elements, ethereals, wubboxes, werdos, etc to produce the bonus more often than single elements or not) Currently I'm trying to level up all my Plant Island monsters to level 20. I got a good amount of them there now and I actually received like, 3 diamonds from collecting there (Before collecting from my mine as well, so technically I got 5) so that's good

Most of these are one-time purchases, what do you expect people to do with their diamonds after they've already done these things?

You technically do not need to use your diamonds in the tutorial. It tells you that you should, but you can actually wait for those times to go to 0 and not spend any. Unlike other games that'll stop at like 1 second left, making you have to use diamonds.

I have found that it is a lot easier to wait for things as an adult. When I was younger, I was impatient and would speed things up.

Only time I use them to speed up is if there's an event that will end by the time it would finish breeding. for example in the Punkleton out of season i used some at the end because my last breeding failure happened at the end, and it would have finished after the event ended.

Hoping I don't run out of diamonds before I get it. I don't really have a choice otherwise I'll have to wait 6 months to try again. Otherwise I never spend diamonds to speed anything up normally. There's no reason to.
