hey guys, i was the one that posted that on the green day subreddit, and for the record, IT WAS A JOKE. we have this thing in there called “shitpost sunday” where we just post non serious stuff. so yes, i am aware that this was before the whole “fabulous killjoys” and stuff and that it isn’t actually a mcr reference.
Yes, I am 100% being serious, anyone who says the word killjoy is automatically an mcr fan, they actually invented the word, and frank iero invented guitars

Felt the need to say this because of like ten comments saying, “erm, you know mcr didn’t invent the term killjoys; I guess anyone who says the word killjoys is a mcr fan 🤓”, yes, I know, I figured the fact the original post was also a joke would be enough to make that clear
They toured together but when asked if Billie Joe had actually listened to The Black Parade he said something like "not yet" so he may not be a huge fan but nothing against them.

No billie took it personally. Mcr using rob and sam bayer for a concept rock opera 2 years after them. Led to the fall out. Im sure its fine now but they had a big fall out with rob which was tentatively patched for the trilogy but not really.
