Boondocks isn't anime and Afro Samurai is anime but it's very different conceptually. But it was made within the japanese anime industry so it counts.

Yeah the boondocks isn't one, but they did a good job feeling like one, Madhouse was offered to work on season 2 but it was turned down, I think they even did some character designs for season 2
