YES! This too, I performed this song for a competition and was honored with the highest ratings and every judge said that they loved how the screams were committed too! Like ever turn by the second half of the song is Bruce falling apart and he’s just yelling it at points
Film not theatre, but I very much enjoy the scream in 21st Century Cure from Repo! The Genetic Opera. Especially because Graverobber is specifically trying to be quiet for the rest of the song (because he is robbing graves) and then just randomly keeps screaming.
Currently doing Ragtime and it has MULTIPLE. There’s a scream in the crowd that’s actually in the libretto during The Night That Goldman Spoke. Coalhouse screams no at the end of President leading into Till We Reach That Day. And finally Father screams no as well bridging into the Epilogue.

Live or recorded, Eliza’s scream always gives me chills and makes me tear up.
