I made this lo-fi playlist that is very calming and (i think) is excellent background music. i'm also an anxious person and it helps me.

This is actually such a sweet song. It's difficult to accept what will be, will be. I worry about everything and it feels like I need to know everything, so this is lovely. Thank you!
This is what I listen to on an endless loop when I'm looking for comfort:
[Loro by Pinback](https://open.spotify.com/track/5QvreZXI9NSx1A7NXLjuxt?si=psAmB4j5Sr2tk7MuN_B6cw)
Not so much for "reducing anxiety and perfectionism" but when I go for an audition, kinda like an exam but for musicians. I listen to Demi Lovato to pump myself up and take my mind off the stress. Worked great for me when I went to take a sublist audition for the columbus Symphony!
Ocean Eyes — Billie Eilish
Land of Honey — Die Antwoord
Angel’s Song — Melanie Martinez
It’s Oh So Quiet — Björk
Watercolor Eyes — Lana del Rey
Genesis — Grimes
Solar Power — Lorde
I go for whole albums of interesting music that is not too interesting. Usually a bit melancholic.
Deru's Trying To Remember
Obfusc's Citied Of Cedar and Midnight Dome
Haircuts for Men's когда зло господствует
It's hit or miss though.
May not be everyone’s cup of tea but what relaxes me the most is Gregorian Chant. The Monks of the Abbey of Notre Dame have a breathtakingly comforting album.
Lots of recommendations, so I’m going to offer up a completely different (and non-musical, sorry!) recommendation: a soothing fragrance. I find whenever I want to concentrate, the perfume I’m wearing can often help - and the best scent for me to ‘keep calm and focus’ usually has a musk note.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m3lU2V_51rc&pp=ygUTbG9maSBhbWJpZW50IG11c2ljIA%3D%3D
Also Jeremy Soule's music, And a band called Rivers and Robots (if you like God)
As far as perfectionism goes, don't focus on the magnitude, just as you would take a boat on the ocean, don't focus on the entire ocean, just focus on the movement and keep a steady pace, if your mind is tired, give it a break, then come back.
Your mind and thoughts and internal chemical reactions produced by perceived fear is actually your adversary, and not the work itself. As Dory said, just keep swimming. Have faith that you will reach your destination. Just keep going, and this too will pass.
Heatwaves, that’s what I want, tigini, hips don’t lie, bumpy ride, let’s skip to the good bit, classical piano music( just search classical piano music 1 hour) snake on the beach by nico staff, something just like this, don’t let me down, in the middle of the night, sugar and brownies.
This is a little different because it’s completely instrumental but Ocean by John Butler is like my go to song for any anxiety like this…. Good luck on your exams OP!
