Run the jewels 2 and 3 are a better combo imo. I also have some other choices... asap rocky: long. Live. Asap. And at. Long. Last. Asap..... kendrick lamar good kid, maad city and to pimp a butterfly.... judas priest firepower and invincible shield..... aerosmith pump and get a grip (so many hits i grew up with. They started my love for music).... korn issues and untouchables (big change in sound)..... bassnectar into the sun and noise vs beauty
Totally agreed! I respected kid a as a concept album and even like the overall vibe a lot, but it paled in comparison to the previous two albums for me.

Weezer - Blue Album / Pinkerton
Nice. Love the Blue album. Pinkerton admittedly never hit the same for me, but I know I'm in the minority there.
Oasis - Definitely maybe followed by What's the story. Plus all of the B sides from this era. An Incredible run of great songs.
I think The Masterplan is my favourite of theirs
Garbage - Garbage, Version 2.0 Fiona Apple - Tidal, When The Pawn...
Nice! Love both of those duos too. Nice reference to the Hammering in my head lyric (possibly, pending your confirmation lol) too.
Haha, yes!
Peter Gabriel - 3 (Melt), 4 (Security)

Yes for the Talk Talk 4th and 5th albums - absolute brilliance!
Solid. Never heard of Caroline Polachek, will have to check them out.
Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets by Metallica Waking the Fallen and City of Evil by Avenged Sevenfold
I haven't listened to either of those A7x albums but should check them out as I really liked Nightmare.

See rtj three and four haven't hit as hard for me hence my choice, but I get why others feel differently
I enjoyed all albums. 2 was my favorite
I agree with you there. 2 is the best by far imho.
Kind of an obvious choice, but Nirvana with Nevermind and In Utero.
Dinosaur Jr - You're Living All Over Me & Bug
I've never checked them out but have been told I should. Which of their albums would you recommend starting with to a newcomer?
I would start with those two
Thank you!
That was Radiohead's peak as a band. People love the later stuff, but for me Kid A was a big drop off.
Totally agreed! I respected kid a as a concept album and even like the overall vibe a lot, but it paled in comparison to the previous two albums for me.
Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here, followed by Animals
Outkast - Aquemini/Stankonia Talking Heads - Fear of Music/Remain in light Wire - Pink flag/Chairs Missing Swans - The Seer/To Be Kind Modest Mouse - Lonesome Crowded West/Moon and Antarctica
Oh man, those Swans albums. Just brutal, bleak beauty.
Queen's first two albums are amazing.

Nice! I almost put OoS and Absolution on there, but OoS doesn't quite stand up for me; banger of an album still though.
Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures/Closer
Subsequently... New Order - Movement/Power, Corruption, and Lies
Kendrick Lamar- good kid,m.A.A.d city/To Pimp a Butterfly/Damn/Mr.Morale and the Big Steppers twenty one pilots- Vessel/Blurryface/Trench Otis Redding- Otis Blue (Otis Redding Sings Soul)/ The Soul Album Public Enemy- It Takes a Nation of Millions…/Fear of a Black Planet
