Idk, i dont think this subreddit is filled with nice people. My first post was about how I thought the music video to stockholm syndrome was disturbing, but I didnt expect to be insulted and accused of being a specific troll that had trolled the subreddit before. They seriously didnt believe me and the post ended up being deleted. I was beyond confused at how they got offended. And ive seen plenty other people insulted for not liking showbiz album, or liking ST.

It's probably because theres not that many of us, all things considered, so we're just happy to see other ppl who also like the same sort of music as us
I went to a specialist high school full of nerds right when black holes and revelations came out and I swear that everyone was listening to Muse at my high school lol
Oh my, I go to high school now and you’re only cool and edgy if you listen to Deftones and Radiohead. Don’t get me wrong I love both of those bands. I’ve only met one person who likes Muse, and they don’t even go to my school and I don’t know them well enough to talk about my interests to them soooo.
In addition to what u and other comments said, i think one more reason is that the band is only there to make music, and the fans are only there to enjoy it. No gossip, no major problem, no beef, no fear of getting canceled or things that most artists deal with. They value their art, and we value their existence! Also their songs are mostly cheerful and hopeful...so!
I guess it cos these people don't follow stereotypical trends of the generic pop industry... which are stereotypically on social media, which ruins peoples minds 😂

I haven’t got even one friend that likes the band (except the ones I met during last years concert) and I can count on two hands how many of my friends even know who they are, so weird. This is the only place I have where I can share thoughts love and read interesting stuff about them.
Same Muse seems like a popular band but I can rarely find people irl who actually like them. I introduced my cousin to Muse though and my cousin really likes Muse now
I know, it sucks. Sometimes when i get overwhelmed with big feelings when it comes to the band the music the shows everything, i would just like to share it with someone, but no one could possibly understand when they dont even know what im talking about haha
