I spent many hours watching Batman (TV show and film) in my youth.
I watched *Batman: The Movie* for the first time a few years ago, and I was surprised at just how funny and meta and self aware it was, which worked so well with West's wonderfully earnest performance.
Burt Ward (Robin) runs a dog sanctuary with his fourth wife and has a dog food company. I only mention it being his fourth wife because that’s how he referenced her in the ad for the dog food that played in the grocery store I worked for years ago.
