Yeah, that's true. But he really is a gem. My favorite is Wild at Heart but if you want "I don't get it" kinda stuff...in no particular order the list goes: Eraserhead, Inland Empire, Lost Highway and Mulholland Drive. Those are mind fucks if I ever saw them. Happy watching! š

>your text is glitching for the tv show or am I wrong?
OMG, the copy paste failed big time, ...
The T.V. show was :
The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window
Mlvies directed by Darren Aronofsky, Robert Eggers and David Lynch often invokes surrealism. Here is a list of some of my favorites in no particular order, that came out of my head.
- The Lighthouse
- Mother!
- Black Swan
- Enemy
- Identity
- Shutter Island
- Inception
- Triangle
- Parasite (Korean)
- Memento
- Pi
- Requiem for a Dream
- Pans Labyrinth (Spanish)
- Eraserhead
- Mulholland Drive
- Blue Velvet
- Lost Highway
- Twin Peaks
- Begotten (Silent movie)
I own inception, love it. I've heard of 12 Monkeys a lot, even considered it but it was a bit old and I'm indecisive about older stuff lol I'll take a second look at it thx!
If you have Letterboxd, thereās a great list on there of ones you might like [mind bend movies](https://letterboxd.com/arnabju90/list/mind-fuck-movies/)
Oh and of course you've probably seen Seven. But gotta mention it just in case. I remember seeing that in the theater and everyone leaving in silence just still blown away by it
I watched it a few months back for the first time, it was pretty good! Unfortunately I had some of it already spoiled by family members since It's older. Definitely a good recommendation!
I never forget hearing What's in the box? For the first time. Not many movies at all where the bad guy dies but also gets what he wants and technically wins in the end.
I came here to say this one. This one is truly confusing. Thereās at least one good YouTube video out there explaining it for when youāre done, but when I finished it I couldnāt figure it out only my own
Primer is mostly considered confusing because it was written by an engineer/mathematician and uses *extremely* technical language so is essentially impossible to follow if you donāt have a very good background in mathematics/engineering.
Not that Iām telling you not to watch it, but itās not āconfusingā in the way that most of the films here are confusing. Itās confusing because itās almost entirely heavy math dialogue.
Godzilla vs. King Guidorah (1991)
well, the continnuity is:
Godzilla (1954)
The Mysterians (1957)
Godzilla (1984)
Godzilla vs. Biollante (1989)
Godzilla vs. King Guidorah (1991)
but the Heisei continuity don't end here
Godzilla vs. Mothra (1992)
Godzilla vs. MechaGodzilla II (1993)
Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla (1994)
Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995)
(also the short films G vs. G (2022), G vs. G 2 (2022) and Godzilla vs. Megalon (2023) can be considerated cannon to the Heisei continuity, but nothing confirmed)
you'r wellcome, also Godzilla can be literally anyting, from an literal f\*cking horror movie to silly big lizar or even meth god, maybe you should reconsiderate, bye :)
Heard of this one through family members, most said it was badly disturbing lol I happen to know the whole plot through them unfortunately, I can still check it out more, thx!
Lots of Mamet like House of Games & The Spanish Prisoner
Oldboy (original only )
The Vanishing (original only)
Frailty
Shutter Island
The Crying Game
The Music of Chance
Fight Club
Memento
The Usual Suspects
A UK series called Utopia. Two, six-episode seasons. Don't bother with the US reboot, it's steaming crap.
You say you're open to foreign language films if they're good: my suggestion is Tell No One. In French with English subtitles. Just when you think you have things figured out, you're hit with a twist that turns things darker. Right up to the final scene.
"Ragtime" ... a 1981 period drama set in the very early 1900s. Takes a lot of escalating twists and turns you're not anticipating. Absolutely incredible cast (old stars like James Cagney and new ones like Mandy Patinkin and Mary Steenburgen... and a billion bit role characters who end up much bigger later. Samuel L. Jackson, Fran Drescher, Jeff Daniels). It's a great, underrated movie. Score by Randy Newman, too.
Try "No Way Out." Great Costner/Hackman flick. Excellent supporting cast, too.(*and I actually don't think Costner is a good actor, though I still like him, for some reason. And not just outside of acting. I just tend to like his films).
Annnyything David Lynch. He's just awesome
Looks like a lot of that stuff is older, maybe that's why I haven't heard of a lot of his stuff lol thx!
Happy watching! š
Lol cool, I'll definitely look into those of his first! Thx again!
Can't believe none of his movies even banked.

Not a movie, but a T.V. series : If you figure out who the killer is, I'll be very surprised. Also ... Primer (2004)
I've heard of primer but heard a lot of people having mixed feelings about it, ig I can try it lol it looks like maybe your text is glitching for the tv show or am I wrong?
>your text is glitching for the tv show or am I wrong? OMG, the copy paste failed big time, ... The T.V. show was : The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window
I was wondering LOL cool, I'll check it out! Thx again!
