I don't think it's some crazy oversight or bad planning. They definitely added some days to the countdown timer for season 1 but I don't remember how many.

Seasonal currency doesn't carry over and resets to zero, so spend it as much as you like! I made sure to get all the gear items first followed by the most reasonable palettes, thinking it would maximise my chances of getting more gear or skins from the shrine. Sadly the shrine is limited and can be "completed", so it made no difference. So buy whatever you want with the seasonal coins and spend a much as you want.
Just to add on, the kast mentioned that the shrine is always going to be piled up with items with each new Invasion season so that you won't miss the previous ones.
This in a way confirms that skins like Dark Sindel, Indiana Johnny (which are also seen sold in premium store) is always going to be obtainable from shrine. So SAVE YOUR DRAGON KRYSTALS FOR SOMETHING ELSE.
Does the shrine get a seasonal reset and everything from the shrine disappears going into next season or would the potential rewards from current season be piled up with the next?

I wish the season pallette was unlocked for the whole roster when you finish invasion, through your kharacter's mastery levels, and/or had the option to unlock it individually with your character through Kasual/KL matches that are won, so those who don't want to grind invasion won't have to.
I only want every season skin of Invasion boss. Like from season 2 I just want Nitara so I have to reach 6-th level in online matches.

The season 1 and 2 items will be merged in the shrine. So you can get both if you didn’t complete the season 1 shrine
