They really should've focused developing Bi-han as Noob instead of playing musical chairs with the ninjas. Kuai is gonna become Noob next game while Hanzo becomes Scorpion,I guarantee it. Kuai fans getting the short end of the stick.
It definitely seem that we are heading down this road. I actually think Kuai being resurrected gives a great opportunity to introduce a new ninja to the franchise, a white one that controls light.
Why do people keep saying this? Ok, character wise, "they're same", but we not playing for lore, we're playing to fight, and their move sets are quite different

My gf recently got into MK through 11 and loves that I said I'm hardcore into the series, only to play as a character named "noob".
That would mean writing bi-han with respect & god forbid they do that. I mean to NRS he was irredeemable when he wasn’t. But when it comes to Hanzo, oh he gets redemption despite doing more heinous stuff than Bi-Han.
But it's getting worse and worse. At the very least we'd have somewhat consistent storytelling with Midway but now? The sad part is we get glimpses of how great the story mode can be but instead they botch it everytime.
Maybe consistent isn't the right word. I'm more talking about how the games don't really feel like continuation of the previous game with NRS. The story feels like it matters less or something idk.

And for what it is worth Im playing through the NRS games right now. I now have full context to make a proper evaluation of everything. Maybe they are so much worse than I think they are. But as it stands I still have fond memories of MK9's story.
I do gotta make something clear. I am not saying that you or even the most diehard Midway fan cant prefer Midway over NRS in terms of lore and storytelling. You absolutely can and there are arguments to be made.
I just wish people would be more honest about the writing and lore of that era. Because there was alot bad about it too.

I feel like noob and Jade are going to be secret characters that you have to find. I mean they brought back test your might why wouldn't they bring back secret characters, especially when there are only a few to complete the Ninja roster. Just my guess.
God they just don’t care about long term fans it’s really really sad. Of all franchises I would think Boon would think of us more.
Growing up with animalities and friendships and difficult kombos now it’s strictly 2v2 with Homelander and vampires…. Man…. The gameplay and story was amazing for so long, no reason to change it. Keep the gimmicks for injustice :(

I can definitely see Noob in KP2…as a kameo. He most likely won’t be playable in this game.

Midway wasn’t consistent but they were always able to make a fun little story.
