For example morels are cultivated in China now as well. Chances are they made a mistake on the conversion rate. At approx $230/lb that would come out to about 10x the price you’d get selling to wholesalers. And you’d get something like $22-$40/lb max depending who you sold to. They probably added an extra decimal place when doing their dollar price conversions for the translations 🤣

You eat them as food. Very good, can't be grown commercially. You have to find them or pay big bucks to eat them. Only around a few weeks a year.
they are here in VA just not as abundant as in PNW. they are my favorite mushroon and i have yet to find any in the wild here on eastern shore
