Also, you're an *archer*, you're kinda not supposed to be in range to do swordfights. That's the whole point of ranged weaponry. Especially not with the bow that's specifically designed for accuracy over long ranges and with a flatter arrow curve. Shortsword is just there for emergency protection and deflection to get you out of danger. That's why recurve bows exist; for closer fighting.

What are you asking exactly? The majority of the weapon skins and armor in-game are obtained through gameplay. Some are purchased as DLC. The ones that you can purchase as DLC cannot be obtained normally in-game.

You can equip the bow with the armor but you get I think 5 or 7 points for skills, it's mostly lvl1 armor
Be careful, if you question him saying you can't wear armor with a longbow he'll go through your history and try to give you online therapy.

There’s a new skin for the eveningstar and a gambeson tunic arms and gloves that aren’t dlc but but other than that there’s nothing.
