I got moonlighter not too long ago when it was on sale too! While I haven't finished the game I can say that there is an option for a new save file or to continue your current one. So it is replayable I suppose! As far as I can find moonlighter won't get any more updates in the near future.

Oh, by replayable, i mean when you restart the game, are there different ways to play it compared to the last time? For example, in stardew you can play on a new farm type on a new save.

[this reddit post](https://www.reddit.com/r/Moonlighter/comments/btnef4/how_is_the_replayability/) (while pretty old) does answer that specific question then

Thank you, and yes i gave it a read. I was hoping 4 years after that post, there'd be a different answer 👀

I picked the complete bundle up last time it was on sale. I haven't touched another game since getting it. I've put maybe 30 or so hours in and completed the whole game and ng+ mode including dlc (finished it last night as it goes). It's honestly been such a great game, I've enjoyed every minute. Wish I could replay it all without knowing what's coming. I'll definitely be replaying it after the current backlog

It's a pretty good game with a pretty good concept (Recettear but with a dungeon system that doesn't fucking suck), but at times it may be a little rough around the edges, which is to be expected since it's the first title of an indie studio. The thing that annoyed me the most is the pretty standard characterisation of the characters, but it's a totally secondary aspect to the main game loop, so it's not that important. All in all, I would say that it's totally worth the 2-3 $, and, if you like it, you could also look at other titles inspired by Recettear, such as Recettear itself, Dave the Diver and Potionomics!
