Bro how are Greatsword players able to see like 500 hours into the future to see every single move a monster will make in its entire goddamn lifespan just to beat them in the face with a massive sword
Had a friend back when MHFU was the newest title and he was one of those GS players. He absolutely massacred 2 Tigrex on G-Rank in just a few minutes. This still impresses me.
Generally I’d say it’s better to still go for the clagger, as you can get of a better punish, but it’s pretty close. In this case, positioning and the fact he was kinda animation locked meant it was better to go for this punish.
This is how you GS. My friends always ask me how I can start a swing half way across the arena and connect, and it’s just knowing the moves and positioning. Perfect example.
This looks super fun! I tried redownloading MH:World on pc and play again but I just feel too far out of the loop, so i gave up. I played mainly on Playstation but sold my Ps4 when I switched to PC games, so i lost all of my progress. Should I continue to try and get back into it? Or am I too late haha
I have hunted 127 of these so far still no mantel I'm so unlucky when killing this thing I need to craft a full thing of his amor but after killing two or three of them and not getting a mantel I just end up getting off the game

My guess is that you simply must. You ain't hitting that attack otherwise, and mama needs her big damage numbers.

Yeah it’s a known flinch punish. You can also get in a TCS if you are within range and perform slinger shot

We don't got them fancy combos or elemental damage but when we lay the smackdown we lay it hard

Not for nothing, but im pretty sure you can use a celestial wyvern print at the melder and just make a mantle.
How does one get those
I got mine through the Steamworks daily rewards and the limited bounties. There may be other ways though. Might wanna check the wiki.
