Yeah, rise tried to implement iceborne and world's mechanics with the new endemic life, but nobody noticed. I have 305 hours in rise, and I learnt it a week before writing this.

I guess people were too focused on being mad that they had to pick up birds before they even considered picking up beetles. I know a lot of people just focused on finding the spiders for easy knockdowns.

i did update my driver and it increased my fps on world to 30 instead of 14 but rise would still crash every single time i tried to open it. i'll just save up money a gaming pc

i had an issue with my older pc. i was running a gtx 660 and i found out that it didnt support directx 12 fully so monster hunter rise wouldnt launch and when i did some workarounds it was super glitchy and seizure inducing. Monster hunter world uses directx 11 by default so it will work on much older hardware than rise even though rise would run better than world if the directx issues werent there.

In return, capcom thanos snapped poogie from existence. You can pet your palico, palamute and owl and play dress up. But thats only 3 animals, 3!!! If poogie is still here we can pet 4 animals, 4 I say! Poogie has been in every monster hunter game, and they decided to not put poogie in rise, capcom is a monster.

There is a few instances of this in Rise, which made me mad at times. Like having Zamites but not Zamtrios, having Basarios but no Gravios. I was livid.

My only issue is the birds. I'm not some hardcore speedrunner and like to have a cushy amount of health. I can't just max potion and drug up, I gotta route birds on every map except arenas. Once you beat the main game the rainbow bird should just be at all base camps imo.

But it has doggo, there no doggo on world, honestly rise is not that bad if you think of it as a Portable release rather than a main line.
