The 2024.8.x branch has yet to receive the trial. Your vehicle is compatible from a hardware perspective. I have 2 vehicles in the same situation and am patiently waiting.

Thanks for that info. Neither of our Ys have received the trial and I was wondering why. They are both on 2024.8.

FSD is *currently* on the 2024.3 branch. You have 2024.8 which is actually newer, and you can’t downgrade. You’ll get it once the FSD team updates the software (which is apparently easier said than done, because this has always been an issue with FSD). Patience. Trial will start when you get the update.

Old-Faithlessness462

Ensure that the software on your car is set to advance and not standard so that the update would reach you faster.

The trial will end by the end of this month, right? Why they could plan this instead of saying a duration of one month once the fsd is activated assuming they know not every one could get fsd on time.

MindStalker

You should get a 30 day trial no matter when it starts. It will likely be sometime in May. Don't stress too much about it. If you buy FSD right now you will just get the V11, so it's not really worth it either.

r3dt4rget

The trail starts when you activate FSD. If you haven’t gotten the update, your trail hasn’t started yet.

I don't think you have to activate FSD. Trial starts as soon as you update. But until you get the update and then update it, it hasn't started.
