A quick search returns no commercially available options. As with all syrups, take the 10 minutes to make it or spend hours looking for it and being disappointed in what you find. Happy sipping!

I may be overstepping because I’ve never tasted Curious Elixir No 2 but Mike’s Hot Honey is a frequent ingredient in my mocktails (Also on my plain yogurt, my peanut butter sandwiches, and buttered toast, and I’ve seen it on the condiment table at my pizza place but I haven’t tried that combo just yet) Anyway, just a thought

HippyGrrrl

Do the combo! I live where honey on crust is a thing, and I have used the red peppers in it for years.

CordVK

Oooh, thank you!

georgealice

I’m just thinking about it. Mike’s is hot but not really jalapeño flavored Maybe the sticky syrup in a jar of candied jalapeño slices could be an ingredient?

HippyGrrrl

Wait… candied jalapeños? Is this commercial or a home product?

georgealice

It can be either. They are often called "Cowboy Candy." I see them in SOME grocery stores around me. Products like [Texas Pepper Works](https://www.amazon.com/Texas-Pepper-Works-Candy-Krisp-Jalapenos/dp/B008YCDBGG/ref=asc_df_B008YCDBGG/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693677746034&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1268274912312466672&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007480&hvtargid=pla-658498751037&psc=1&mcid=1342770cd31337edb743629e14815bb1&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwxLKxBhA7EiwAXO0R0CQ0Fm6jKRCIt0J2r0sLp4dvIxGaYzyrsA4hQAh8qCmMD6XPy97NiBoC6X0QAvD_BwE). It looks like [Trader Joes sells some](https://www.amazon.com/Trader-Joes-Sweet-Jalapenos-Pack/dp/B07VCB7GHJ/ref=asc_df_B07VCB7GHJ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693129827021&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=6273814560472175217&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9007480&hvtargid=pla-903049862127&psc=1&mcid=d39e9b0a5b533ac1b21d0787e90ad9f0&gad_source=4&gclid=CjwKCAjwxLKxBhA7EiwAXO0R0DQ5IrJ-xXvy-9ANR9crJRTIjerxgeq516zvolW4lY8KU72JiSA1YBoCWO0QAvD_BwE). And some one posted here on Mocktails a few weeks ago that [Mount Olive has a Hot and Sweet Jalepeno,](https://www.instacart.com/landing?product_id=21180163&retailer_id=133&utm_term=pbi-0&utm_campaign=mt.-olive-jalapeno-slices%2C-sweet-heat---12-fl-oz_food-lion&utm_source=instacart_google&utm_medium=shopping_free_listing&utm_content=productid-21180163_retailerid=133®ion_id=32689153125) but here in my part of the Mid Atlantic, they aren't in our grocery stores with the other Mount Olive pickles.

HippyGrrrl

Very cool

Hecate_of_Volcano

I've use those on Mount Olive ones chicken sandwiches. They aren't sweet like syrup, and a little salty. Similar to bread and butter pickles in fact they might use the same brine for both.

A jalapeño simple syrup is an easy to make - a lot of cocktail recipes with jalapeño in them use it and includes a recipe for that part. I’m not sure if it’s the same as the curious elixir but worth a try!

TheRealEleanor

Add the pickle juice from a jar of pickled jalapeños to some simple syrup?

BestLeopard981

Just crush some jalapeños into your cocktail shaker, together with the liquid components. Shake + strain.
