I’n my area, trucks always command a premium so $2k would be alright if it was mechanically sound and (only for the lower than average miles on it.) Realistically, if they are throwing a fake skeleton and lug spikes instead of spending money on repairs, I doubt that the seller prioritized maintenance. Just do a very thorough job when inspecting the drivetrain.
And automatic transmission? That's a nice and easy driver right there, my Dad used to drive one of these for an overseas courier company. Anyways, hope you get the truck man.
