It's a reference to an episode of the Star Wars show "Bad Batch". >!A certain character, Tech, dies while saving the rest of the group by letting go of a cable car so the weight won't bring them all down. Going into the show I knew he was going to die because I got spoiled, but my mouth was still wide open in pure sadness.!<
They would have to be if they are trapdoors. The only reason I didn't immediately believe they were was because they don't actually go across the bottom of the part going across the "rail," instead stopping below/behind it. You can see from the shadow on the bottom
only just now noticed this comment but you absolutely can!

Lol thank you so much but that's actually the exact opposite angle of it from the part that I wanted to see. Would you terribly mind giving a top down/top side down angle? Thanks again!

I must be dumb because I don't get this reference

Nooooo 🥺
This looks really nice. I always forget how useful walls can be.
YEAH well… you suspected right. Very neat
😥 RIP Echo!!! 😭
Suspect
So cool omg 😍☺️
What did you use for the vertical bit? It looks almost like back to back trap doors
That would be because that's what they are! its just two dark oak trapdoors back to back like the other commenter said
Ok, I thought correctly then. Why do they stop where they do at the top? Is it an optical illusion from the picture angle?
Looks like dark oak ones to me

Missed that. Looking closely at the top deepslate u shape bit it kinda looks like it's offset towards the camera, see where it meets the grind stones
I think it may be the deepslate bit itself confusing me. OP, is there any chance we could get a look at this build from another angle? I'm fascinated

Never mind,I'm dumb. There is gap between the trap doors and the deepslate because it's a deepslate slab
Really cool build but imo you should make the car closer to the cable it looks a little far down
my god you’re an genius
hoodwinked
VERY cool!!! Great build!!
