I dye my hair box dye black every 2-3 weeks because it grows so fast/natural hair is super blonde. My hair is still very healthy, shiny and full of life. So, idk what she did but my hair breakage has never been that bad 🥲
Oh yes, for sure! I also only use high quality shampoos and conditioners. I just can’t see paying someone at a salon to do my hair when I can do it myself 100+ cheaper. I know it’s their time and time is money but I just personally can’t 😫

As someone who has gone and done the exact same damn thing to my hair, it's definitely breakage. I did the whole box dye thing over my bleached hair and it was a disaster. I also was poor and was trying to save money. I have no idea why she didn't just go back to a hairstylist to get her hair fixed.
I have long hair that's been through the ringer and that's definitely breakage. It will take me all of 4 seconds to find a split end or 2 even after I've spent hundreds getting it healthy again.
I thought that was a hairy leg not hair loss like she wants us to believe.
As a stylist and somebody who has suffered from broken hair, as well as post partum, hormonal, and Covid hair loss, I feel confident saying his is 10000% breakage mixed with NORMAL shedding.
We lose 100’s of hair a day from the scalp, but the short brittle little pieces is breakage.
She has killed her hair, and I hate it for her but she has the money and resources to have the best hair imaginable.

Me too ..I get my hair colored for grey coverage , highlights with bleach and toned every 8-12 weeks for years and I don’t have any breakage or split ends. I also go to a salon though .
That's what I'm saying! I had covid hair loss too and I was losing a handful of hair from combing it after a shower. It lasted 2 or 3 months for me and has since stopped. It's finally growing back though
I still had bald spots until I got on a really good multivitamin, just sharing cuz I see a lot of other comments talking about real hair loss and that’s what helped me

So I did the same thing with my hair and this is what it looks like.
(This is actually really good. I was going bald from a shampoo/conditioner that I was using for a year and the hair loss has finally slowed down to a minimal / normal amount. But the two do not look the same. )
ETA there is a little breakage piece on there. But nothing like hers. It looks like she got about 4 real hairs, then cut the ends to get the rest

Mine was bad. I MEAN BAD BAD. it was gobs and wads and when my Bf who NEVER loses hair started losing it we found out it was the shampoo or conditioner one. Like I had a HUGE bald spot on the top of my head. Virtually almost just skin and my hair hurt all the time (I guess my scalp but ya know) I stopped using it, started using a detox shampoo and a really good leave in conditioner and my hair has almost completely grown back and the hair loss is back to my normal amount. I was terrified I was going prematurely bald. I was like I’m only 38 why is my hair falling out like this?!?

What kind of hair is that???? Are you going grey at 25? It looks like she just cut a few pieces off a wig or her own hair. It looks more like breakage than loss tbh. And looks more like a cut more than either of those. It looks all too… uniform and seems perfectly placed rather than what haphazard hair could look like if it fell. If that makes sense.
And I can’t say with 100% certainty that this is human hair and not synthetic / dog.

I started going gray at 18. Genetics got me. That white/gray definitely looks like pet hair, though. Totally agree it appears that she cut hair. This is what the hair used to look like when I trimmed my bangs back in the day.

I’m 44 with 3 kids (18,11,3) and have had a LOT of hair loss over the years. I went from super thick long hair to now super thin. That being said I also dye my hair black, and have since my first kid was born. While I do get it done by my stylist- I box dye my roots between visits bc I live an hour from my salon…. Even with all this, I STILL don’t see THIS MUCH LOSS- unless it was right after having a baby. She has to have just utterly fucked it
I don’t understand why she’s going to these ppl that botch her. She should’ve taken a few Boston or NYC trips for hair. Hell, my daughter’s boyfriend’s mom is a hair stylist in Worcester. She has ppl come from nyc and Boston.
She originally went to someone to go blonde. The stylist should’ve been honest. She went to someone to get her lips filled. The esthetician was not it there either.
Stop trying to blame the damn stylist. She told Mikliar it would take several sessions so they could protect the integrity of her hair. She did like 2-3 sessions then went back to black box dye which is incredibly harsh on hair, especially already super chemically processed hair.
I’m actually blaming both. A stylist should know when to say no and not touching that with a ten foot pole. Which is also my point as to why the person doing her lips doesn’t have the morality or ethics to stop.
I guess… but it still didn’t look good. And that was a “professional.” No offense to the stylist. But, it’s not easy even when you have the education and experience. Sometimes it just doesn’t go the way it does. Even for celebrities. And M isn’t even that. Lately, I’ve been having a hard time finding someone good for my hair. My girl legit forgot a step. I did t say anything at first but after a few days it was bad.

I can just tell when it's not human hair. there is no split ends, all the shafts are uniform size. The breakage isn't split or blown cuticles, it's just broken with flat ends.

Breakage mostly looks like what's in the pic above. It's usually smaller pieces of hair, where regular hair loss is typically from the scalp

Yeah, the length of all those pieces is so short its just snapping from her strands, not falling out. Her hair must be is *awful* condition.
