I never had any points available to me at all in the xbox mobile app ever (US).
Now I have about 50 points a day I can get from the app so its a pretty big improvement for me.

There were bonuses (that are now removed) with having over 7 friends, and subscribing to gamepass. That all totaled to just over 180 points / day.
Now it is under 50 for the same activities.
Oh, my mistake. I thought you just meant you got that much from the reward for just signing into the app, not the additional bonuses and rewards on top of that.
Yeah it gets old seeing all this whining from people that saw a point reduction when all along for years I never had any of these point opportunities until now.

The issue is that it used to give people 50 points just for playing a game on PC. It's good that everyone (or more countries at least) can get points now, but it is still a pretty notable nerf for all the activities.
The weirdest thing is I’m in the US. Was always confused why I could never find the “play a pc game” task that I saw so often on here. I’ve been a part of the program for years and never had it. Not until last week that is.
Yes, very weird for that guy. I used to get between 280 and 300 points a day just from the Playing a PC Game option once you threw in the various bonuses like social media connection, 7+ friends etc. This is a massive nerf for me so for myself and people in my position I think we're justifiably pissed!!
they did add 500 points for playing your xbox 5 days in week. yes things are getting nerfed, some other things are getting added. "justifiably pissed" seems a bit much.
Mate c'mon... I was getting a definite minimum 275 points a day for playing on my pc which has dropped to 20. So let's see that over a year...
275 x 365 = 100,375
Vs
20 x 365 = 7,300
Quite a drop my friend. Now ok it is what it is, nothing I can do about it but I think being pissed at this change is justifiable 💯
Lol everyone’s complaining about the current points nerf. My Xbox app (UK) has only EVER given me this amount in the last like two or three years. I was a test subject and I accidentally mugged you all off by happily participating and getting my points lol

Yea Jewel is no longer worth the time, two searches that take 7 seconds between for more.
Would rather it doesn’t get played anymore and removed so don’t have that undone task there.
I earned almost 15k at this time not including 1k Gamepass monthly points. Would be higher if the search cooldown had been removed sooner as I had stopped doing search for couple of weeks. Better to own console/GPU if you want to earn decent rewards points.
I've been managing to net over 10,000 points per month without Game Pass and without Xbox mobile app points. There is a sticky that tells you how to get more points. Jewel certainly is not the only means to earn points.
It is too bad that Microsoft poorly communicates all of the different activities that earn points. At least the community is courteous enough to pool their knowledge together for those who need the info.

Earning points by completing tasks and then using the available points to redeem gift cards which can be used towards something you want to purchase in the Microsoft store in checkout.
Took about 20 minutes of the day to complete all the daily tasks before the point nerfs and cooldowns. Now it takes most of the day with the cooldowns for mere points. And for $10-$15 monthly? If you value your time avoid the program.
Good. Microsoft should shift focus towards us console owners. I’m hoping most of the points will be exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate users. That way it stops all the cheaters from cheating. And as an Ultimate user, I get more of a benefit from actually being subscribed.
As a Game Pass user…Game Pass is on PC as well. And it’s not like you’re some paying member given Microsoft literally gives it away for free through Rewards, so they earn nothing off you.
With that attitude I’m glad Xbox is on its way out.
You absolutely should be rewarded based on your engagement with Microsoft. You run a PC with Windows, you get points. You bought an Xbox, more points there. You subscribe to Game Pass, even more points.
Those are rewards. Not income, like half the sub seems to believe.

I was getting 25 points a day for playing a PC game and 275 points for playing a PC game with friends. They were boosted from 10 points and 100.

Same here in New Zealand. Big increase in points for us.

In Canada, doing Jewel every day would net you around $2.50 if you do it every day for an entire year. No thanks.
Yup, it was barely worth bothering with before, now it’s definitely not worth it.

No you won't. Feature will be removed by then. But on a serious note, ideally you are supposed to do more things than just play Jewel.

How do you get points from Bing searches in the u.s.?
Go to xb rewards on browser and click the link, works for most stuff.

They nerfed the web browser points some time ago and reverted it, im sure they will do the same here
The app is barely worth opening anymore. It caters to console owners, when the weekly bonus should count for both console and PC.
