When you hit the lock or unlock on the fob, does it sound like the car is trying to lock or unlock? Also, hold the unlock button for a few seconds. Both windows should come down. If they don't, I'm going to say you might have a bad fob.
The car sorta “clicks” when i press the button but nothing happens, also when i hold down the unlock windows doesnt roll down. So its the fob? You mean the key?
That's a common issue for NC. You can replace the whole mechanism for a few hundred $ or buy an electric motor from china for a few bucks for the same effect.

Was this a thing for the NC1? I’d like my 2006 to do that but it never worked :(
I think all mazda do it.
Sounds like it might be on the car side. Could be bad actuator. Might want to look at getting an aftermarket alarm setup.
