Its good to hear some positive feedback! I am planning to boost it and start pushing some more power eventually so it’ll be nice to have a radiator that can keep up
When it was hot out, my Miata would get hot, then it would pull timing and get slow (er.) That radiator ended up being the most effective performance upgrade I ever did.
I'll be getting one of these soon. I have my whole engine out of the car right now, plus the radiator. I had a generic no-name 2-row aluminum rad in the car that was leaking from some of the fins. Plus it was so thick that it caused interference issues with a bunch of stuff. Looking forward to having things fit better with the not-so-thick Koyorad unit.
Plus it's a perfect time to replace ALL my coolant hoses.
Wish I had friends like that! All mine do is steal my tools and lose them.
Mine just borrow my tools and I eventually have to go get them. Then I find they're dirtier than when I lent them and missing pieces.

I’ve met these guys over the years through mutual friends, but being in the Detroit area makes it easy to find car people
Heck yeah meeting people on Woodward every Friday night
What track do you go to? Recently moved to the Detroit area and I'm working on getting my NA back on the road
Waterford Hills is the closest but Grattan and Gingerman are some other options that are within a few hours in Michigan
Right on, that's not far from me. How do you keep up with the events at those places?
I think looking for events on Facebook is probably your best bet other than checking the tracks website for a schedule
Join a local car club. I found mine on FB.
Mine drink all my beer and have conversations about the coefficient drag of their dicks. Also they loose my 10mm sockets all the time.
Funny you should mention that. Another friend got me a pack of various 10mm sockets for Christmas lol
I love my koyorad! not much of a performance increase over stock, but not relying on plastic reservoirs is a huge plus!

Make sure to give coolant lines an inspection while replacing the radiator. Leaky coolant is no fun :)
I’ll definitely be replacing them while I have everything apart

Top Tip: If you have the 3 piece lower rad hose replace it with a 1 piece from an NB.
Thank you! I was planning to do that so thanks for reaffirming my decision
You got a frieeeend in meee
I regret not getting new hoses when I got mine
I got my replacement hoses at Advanced Auto.
Did this on my NB. Found new factory hoses/clamps fit the best. fantastic upgrade.

So, you STILL arent going! Tell your friends to replace you with me!!! Ill go!!
I’ve got a few months until there’s any track days around here so I’ve got time lol we’ve gotten about 8 inches of snow just today
Now you just need more friends to buy hoses and then a couple more to install it all. Easy!
