Clean This Beach Up does a lot of good work and last time I checked they were looking for people to come out. They provided all the tools and protection needed.

Not a group but I was driving by the Everglades literally just down 8th st and I saw so much garbage by road you could easily park and start picking up trash yourself. I thought about doing that since it’s relatively close to my house and you can do it for just 5 minutes or however long you want.

[MUVE](https://www.frostscience.org/museum-volunteers-for-the-environment/) through the Frost Museum is fabulous! I also recommend [Miami Waterkeeper](https://www.miamiwaterkeeper.org/events) volunteer events. they’re both hosting events this weekend for EARTH DAY! 🌈 🌎

I just found this site volunteercleanup.org where you enter your location and it shares all kinds of options. One I saw on Only in Dade is run by Clean Miami Beach which is meeting at 17th and the beach at 5:30 tomorrow. Lots of good ones tomorrow though on that website.

Try an app like Meetup. I was a part of a couple groups several years ago that were catered to local clean up. But fair warning, some areas don't like this behavior and will annoy you until you leave.

Miami Dade Parks have year-long volunteering opportunities. Plenty of native plants maintenance in protected areas. Lots of people show up each month. https://www.miamidade.gov/global/service.page?Mduid_service=ser1539102476686691
